A while later, after Anise's explanation.
“Oh wow, I became taller?”
“That's the part you're curious about?”
“Yea, I want to be taller.”
“Nope, you're gonna stay short forever.”
Anise bends down slightly to Xania's height, mocking her.
“Screw you…”
“sure.”
“What… screw— screw it… just tell me what the key does.”
“Don't ask me, ask the zombie bastard?”
“Zombie?”
“Obviously the death knight pretending to be invisible by keeping quiet.”
“Why zombie?”
*Well, he did die to become a death knight.”
“He did?”
“Could you two stop talking about me while I'm still here?”
“Too bad zombie bastard, you were the one who remained as quiet as can be.”
“Guys, just tell me what's going on?”
“Miss Xania, take this.”
Davien tries to pass Xania the key as Anise stops him.
“Miss Anise, what are you doing?”
“Wouldn't my lord just go crazy again?”
“Rude…” Xania mutters softly to herself.
“No, it shouldn't happen again.”
“How can you be s—”
Davien throws the key, hitting Xania's forehead, annoying her as she grabs the key.
“Annoying… what's this?”
“A key.” Davien replies instantly.
“...”
“Figure it out by yourself.”
“Can't you make my life easier?”
“Yea.”
“So, what is it for?”
Davien moves away instantly, not teleporting away as Xania could just cancel it.
“...”
“My lord, you should just kill him.”
“Yea, right. How about you try?”
“... I hate him.”
“Same.”
Xania puts the key into the bed as Anise sits opposite her, looking at the key which is a blueish colour, similar to Xanias hair colour when she was not in control of herself.
They keep trying to figure out what it does, injecting mana into it, trying every door they could(complete fail), biting the key and any other stupid ideas they could think of.

“My lord, how about we throw it away unless he tells us? Then that stupid death knight will not have a choice.”
“Yea…” Xania answers, her mind somewhere else as Anise claps, snapping her out of it.
“My lord, what are you thinking of?”
“Nothing, I just swear that I forgot something… nevermind, if I forgot it it wasn't important.”
“Oh yea, now that you mention it, I swear I remember something too. It was a person? No… but I swear… oh… Blob.”
“Blob! Where is h– no, she!”
“Did you just call blob he?”
“He's annoying, Daviens annoying. Hi— she's got no gender, Davien does.”
“And so you somehow matched those two together?”
“Yep!”
“... I'll get someone to get him back.
Anise we items a letter, teleporting it to Davien
“How about I try to infuse divinity into it?”
“Sure, but don't infuse more mana into it.”
“Sure.”
Xania starts infusing divinity into it, causing it to glow slightly for a moment as she keeps trying before
Beam…
Xania dodges barely, pulling her face out the way as the key sends all her divinity out in a beam, blowing a new hole up in their ceiling.
“... My lord, you okay?”
“Yep… let me try it again.”
As Xania moves to try again, Anise snatches it away.
“My lord, you almost lost your face.
“I wouldn't have died.”
“Yea… I wouldn't be so sure. You'd get a decent injury minimally.”
“So what?”
“... You can try again but you're not going to put your face over the key.”
“But it looks so pretty when glowing!”
“My lord… please act more mature.”
Xania reluctantly nods, snatching the key back and placing it on the bed as she starts infusing divinity into it again, holding back her desire to look at it slowly glowing from the top.
“Anise.”
“No.”
“No anise—”
“You're not putting your face over.”
“Anise! Listen to me!”
“Fine.”
“I'm gonna use some dark mana into it, it just feels right.”
“You fainted last time. No.”
“That was because I was fusing it while it was still in my body.”
“Still n—”
Xania starts doing so, interrupting Anise and ignoring what she was saying, annoying her massively.
After a while, Xania finishes infusing her mana and divinity, pulling back as the divinity stays in.
As Xania looks at it from the top, expecting to look like a simply clear colourless glow or a black light like the last time she used divinity with dark mana but finds a blue colour there instead, similar to her hair colour.
“My lord, what did you do?”
“Simple, I just did what I'd said I would do, no?”
Anise picks the key up looking at it as Xania snatched it, hugging it protectively before putting it up to her eye.
“Selfish.”
“What's mine is mine.”
“Annoying brat.”
“... What did you call me?”
“Oh, shut up. I'm old enough to be your mom, you're 28 years old at most, I'm over 200. Actually, I'm old enough to be your ancestors in human years!”
“...”
Xania aims the key at Anise, filling it up with divinity only as Anise dodges, expecting a beam of light but the key suddenly starts getting pulled into a certain direction and…
Voom.
The key started flying away, pulling Xania who was holding the key tightly along with it.
“My lord…?”
Anise looks over at where Xania was standing before turning into the even newer hole in the ceiling made when Xania got pulled through it.
“My lord!! You've been kidnapped by a key!”
Anise starts reacting dramatically as a joke before changing back to a calm demeanor, chasing after them with teleportation.
After a few minutes of chasing, Anise catches up.
“My lord! Why aren't you letting go?!”
“I can't! My fingers are stuck to it!”
“What the hell…”
Anise grabs Xania's arm, trying to pull her off but end up getting dragged instead, her hand getting stuck onto Xania's arm, her mana unusable due to Xania's divinity pouring out slightly before being sucked back into the key, preventing any mana from being used or they suffer from the risk of mana recoil.
“Goddammit! I hate that fucking death knight!”
After a while, the key starts heading at full speed towards a mountain. Xania sighs as Anise hugs her, intending to use her as a meat shield but not pushing her off due to knowing that Anise will probably get injured if she gets sent through a mountain.
“Fuck…”
The key sends Xania head first into the mountain, causing her extreme discomfort for a short while before they end up in an area inside the mountain.
The key finally disconnects from their hands as they stand up, Xania wiping off all the dirt from her head.
“Finally… I hate this.”
Xania looks around, finding herself in some grassy location, mold growing on the cave's walls. The area somehow lighted up dimly by some plants.
“My lord, what's that?”
Their eyes lock onto a random gate with a keyhold beside it as Xania approaches it with the key in her hand before Anise stands in front of her, stopping her immediately.
“What do you think you're doing?”
“Isn't it obvious? I'm going to put the key in.”
“No, you're not.
“Why?”
“It's potentially dangerous!”
“So what?! Aren't you tempted?! Let's just go! Come on!” Wuss!”
“No.”
Xania tries to walk past from her left but Anise stops her. She tries again on the right but Anise stops her again.
“Move.”
“My lord, stop this.”
Xania teleportd to the keyhole, putting the key in and turning it, causing the gate to rise up.
As she tries to enter, Anise tackles her down, successfully doing so due to Xania not expecting that, sending both of them in.
“Get off of me!”
“No my lord! Let's get out of here and get that stupid death knight to help! He clearly knows what's going on here!”
“No! Hell, just waste time, let's go in!”
As they keep arguing, the gate suddenly closes back down with a loud slam, chasing both of them to turn over at it.
Anise turns back to Xania who is smiling mischievously before sending an attack to the gate, not damaging it at all.
“Guess we've got no choice now huh?”
“Fuck…”
