Volume 10. Chapter 55: Rather Than Be Worried, I Remembered My Power. (Chapter 956)

Chapter 55: Rather Than Be Worried, I Remembered My Power.

With Nemu’s sweet, previous words ringing in my head, I immediately went to watch over Celia. As expected, I could do so, and my future wife was fine and dandy. She had taken Zelia to the Mana Void, as I have just so decided to name it that.

Celia: “Hey, was that flash your doing? It wasn’t anything that I did…” She asked with a raised eyebrow.

Zelia: “Yes, it is a default defense mechanism. Most of my fights tend to be in voids like this, so a bright flash does wonders; even if my opponent isn’t weak to that kind of Magic.” She admitted without even a hint of shame.

Celia: “Couldn’t you have turned it off, since we had no intentions of causing you any harm? Now… the others probably think that I did something crazy again.” She added with a sigh.

Zelia: “I cannot. It was a Skill I gained long ago, a time when the System was still around. Speaking of which… I am very excited to get a new System, especially one so amazing looking as the System of this timeline seems to be!” She denied with a shrug, before getting all giddy, practically jumping up and down.

  Celia: “…”

Ah, even with such trauma, Celia will always be Celia, huh? Though, with her current appearance, Zelia looks more like Celia’s direct, blood daughter…

Stolen from Royal Road, this story should be reported if encountered on Amazon.

Zelia: “And so, why have you taken me to this place? I will admit to it being… unique. Never once have I experienced such a darkness before.” She asked with a curious tone and expression, though, switching back to her more serious demeanor.

Celia: “No way that’s true. Even if it was… Vulely gave you a lot of information through her memories.” She replied with her arms crossed.

Zelia: “Parsing through all that will take a long time, Celia. Even then… nothing of this place was depicted in those memories.” She clarified while doing her own arm crossing.

Celia: “…Well, do you know your actual origin?” She asked with an empathic tone and expression.

  Zelia: “( ? _ ? )”

  A Few Hours Later.

Just like Celia herself, the revelation of Zelia being Mana… hit her quite hard. In fact, Zelia’s pain was far more intense, as the woman could think of so many more uses of her origin… than even Nemu could or knew of.

Celia: “Now, back to why we’ve come here… Simply put; if you try to heal normally, it will take a very long time. Instead, we can just use the Pure Mana here, which should make you recover far, far quicker.” She finally explained with a gentle tone, seeing that Zelia was still a bit shaken up.

Zelia: “That certainly would speed up the process greatly. Though, how exactly can we do that? Prior to this, I wasn’t even aware of Pure Mana existing…” She replied with a thinking pose.

  Whoosh!

While Zelia was contemplating that question, Celia had already done the work. A ball of Pure Mana shot out from Celia’s hand, ending up directly in Zelia’s body.

  Zelia: “…”

Celia: “Sorry, was that too sudden?” She asked with a cheeky tone.

  Narrator Vulely: “…”

  Zelia: “…”

  Celia: “???”
