Chapter 54: Not Skipping A Beat, She Did Something Crazy... Again!!!

  Tap!

Guanyu: “Ah, so that’s what happened.” She mused with a somewhat sighful tone.

  Zelia: “…”

  Narrator Vulely: “…”

Although I boasted about my position, this wasn’t something that I could decide on my own. So… we had to find Celia, ask her about it. Guanyu approached us before we could reach her, though, and then, without asking, looked through our memories. Ignoring my silent pleas, the Cultivator then gave those memories to Celia, thus revealing that horrible future to her…

Celia: “Vulely… why keep silent about this?” She asked with a sad tone and expression.

Narrator Vulely: “I…” I was cut off, not like I would have been even able to say more than that…

  Hug!

Celia: “Please… never hide your pain like this again. I would never fall out of love with you, simply because your prank ended up traumatizing you yourself.” She expressed with an overly warm tone, melting my heart instantly.

Ah… I, once again, understand deeply why so many people have fallen for this woman. For me, there was nothing for Celia to forgive, which is what terrified me the most. She just proved my theory, now forever tying me to herself.

Celia: “Zelia is…” She said with an awkward tone, not adding more to her sentence.

Zelia: “A very lazy name, but names honestly don’t matter much to me. And since you’re me… I’m certain that you would make a similarly creatively bankrupt name, if you ended up in my situation.” She replied with a joking scoff.

Celia: “Eh, I can’t deny that one.” She expressed with a defeated shrug.

Zelia: “So? Why have you started this discussion? I am very doubtful that you, of all people, came over to me, just to insult the name I chose.” She added with a raised eyebrow.

Nemu and Xena were also in the room, but remained silent. Neither had anything to really add to this, and mainly, Nemu was still upset with Guanyu in the first place. In the time I skipped over, Guanyu had given those memories to them as well. But Nemu was still restricted; thus, her anger only continued to boil.

Celia: “Perhaps… in your old age, you’ve grown a bit foolish.” She said with an oddly serious tone, seeming to look into Zelia’s soul.

Zelia: “Age doesn’t matter for immortals; but calling me an old, dementia-ridden hag… is still an insult!” She shot back, only prevented from starting a fight, as doing so would likely end her life, even if Celia didn’t attack her back in retaliation.

Celia: “That’s not what I meant, and you know it. Am I really the type of person to do a bit… despite such circumstances?” She mused with a thoughtful tone, these very words quite possibly being the ones that made Celia change to be more… mature later in life.

  Zelia: “( ? _ ? )”

Celia: “Rather than get this wounded, as well as weakened… you could have just ask Guanyu or me for help, allowing us to break those seals in your stead. I suppose that is in the past now, though.” She finally explained with a wistful tone, before then getting even closer to Zelia.

  Grab!

Zelia, in her current state, wasn’t able to prevent Celia from gently grabbing hold of her arm. All in the room, including Guanyu, looked beyond confused. Even still, with our endless trust in Celia, no one attempted to stop whatever she intended on doing.

To add to this absurd situation, the room then flashed a blinding white light, with Zelia and Celia being gone the moment it faded away, which was only clear to us after we regained our sight…
