Chapter 36: The Absurd Situation!

  Narrator Vulely: “This fast method is taking too long. So please do explain your little joke while we walk, Runey.” I gently requested.

  Runey: “You’re acting like I am some criminal. Celia has whimsy, and so shall I!” She exclaimed with righteous fury. “My more mature wives like my whimsy, so I won’t ever lose it!!!” She inwardly mused, forgetting that I can hear her thoughts.

  Narrator Vulely and Xena: “(- _ -)”

  Since, again, I was going the fast route to fix the System, staying in the Void, going along with our daughter’s antics… would be foolish. Instead, we went back to current home Dimension, and are now looking for Celia. She wasn’t in her room when we checked…

  Celia: “Ah, Xena, Runey. Did you two fix the System?” She asked with a curious tone and expression.

  Xena, Runey, and Narrator Vulely: “(~OAO)”

  After asking around, we learned that Celia was in the garden. Neither of us asked what she’d be doing there, but now I wish that I, at the very least, did so. Runey was even too stunned to finish her prolonged joke…

  Zia: “I’d definitely say so, Ria. Though, this was partly done with my handiwork, which means that I might be somewhat biased.” She added with a giggle.

  Runey: “…” “Should I let my wives do this to me as well? Hm… This is an important question, one that I shall linger on for a while.” She secretly thought, tone that of absolute seriousness.

  Standing there, smile on her face, seeing nothing wrong with this… was Celia, dressed up in cutesy Gothic Lolita attire. Specifically, it was the type that young cosplayers, or children, would wear. It being different shades of pink… only added to the absurdity.

  This wasn’t anything unique, to be honest. It wouldn’t be the first time that Celia had been dressed up, either by her wives or children. The main thing… is that Celia should have stopped agreeing with the ridiculous asks of her family.

  Celia: “Vulely, why are you acting so confused?” She asked with a curious tone, cutely walking up to me.

  Narrator Vulely: “…A-are you really okay with doing what Zia and Ria want?” I replied with my own question, doing my best not to stutter, as Celia was very tasty looking right now.

  Celia: “Okay with it? Why wouldn’t I be?” She replied with a confused head tilt.

  Narrator Vulely: “…”

  What the hell! Did the family secretly mind control Celia while the three of us were gone?… Perhaps I am just being extreme, but this situation feels just like how this family treated Celia before in the previous life.

  Guanyu: “Celia is still stern, and refuses unreasonable requests from the family, Vulely.” She chimed in, appearing out of nowhere.

  Narrator Vulely: “???”

  Celia: “Oh, that’s why you’re being off, Vulely? Xena and Runey are acting like this as well.” She added with a haughty laugh.
