Chapter 35: They Refused To Believe It As Well!
When it comes to Celia, one could never get enough of her. Even as I had taken a two-week vacation, spending the entirety of it with my wife… I still wanted more.
However, such things can be left for later. All of our efforts were not in vain, and, in the present day, life for the family was absolute peace. Besides… it won’t take much more to finish out this correction narration.
Runey: “You’re just trying to derail our progress, Vulely!” She scoffed in reply, looking oddly furious.
Narrator Vulely: “…”
Xena: “For once, I agree with this foolish daughter of mine.” She added, also seeming to be somewhat angry.
I understand their anger, as, regardless of what Celia is… she shouldn’t know any in-depth knowledge about the System... or even how to fix that thing. It wasn’t like I had an easy way to explain this, either. Celia, for fun, didn’t tell me how she fixed the System, you see…
Narrator Vulely: “Listen, I am telling the truth. Celia was the one who fixed the main problem, or so she said. That woman rarely lies to us, you both understand this quite well.” I explained once more.
Runey: “The present Celia would likely be able to do that, sure… But not the Celia of this time!” She shot back, now angrier than before.
The narrative has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.
Bop!
Xena: “Calm down, Runey.” She scolded after lightly hitting our daughter’s cute head.
Narrator Vulely: “(- _ -)”
Xena is… so odd. Not that long ago, she was stern and didn’t treat the family so… tenderly. Now, Xena simply lacks Celia’s hand in marriage, while already seeing everyone else as family, including the daughters.
From what I recall on my short break, Xena had actually became one of the top wives in the harem. She kept accusing me of wrongfully monopolizing Celia, as well as giving me various orders. Should I nip this problem early? Ah, little Xena… my kindness is so, so vast, yet you’ll never know this…
Runey: “Moms, the System is stupidly complex. Though game-like on the outside, what makes up the System itself… far exceeds the complexity of the most advanced video game in any modern dimension!” She lectured, still huffing and puffing a bit.
Narrator Vulely: “I never asked… But how complex is it, really?” I reply with a curious tone and with a thinking pose.
Xena: “Vulely, it is absurd. I can’t help much with it… Think of a human brain and all the connections it has and utilizes, brain cells, etc. The System is like that, except… at least 1,000 times more detailed and varied.” She explained with a serious tone, already at her wit's end on what to do.
Eh? Then… what could Celia have done to help with the System? She told me that… everyone would get a rise out of it, and still do, even in the present.
Runey: “Rather, it was 1,000 times more complex.” She added, sounding smug, for some reason.
Narrator Vulely: “…”
Xena: “…”
Runey: “At least give me one reaction…” She pleaded.
Xena: “…”
Narrator Vulely: “…”
Runey: “These two moms of mine are so rude!!…” She pouted like a spoiled brat, now unwilling to finish speaking what crazy joke that she was setting up.
