Chapter 19: Helping Her Mother Through It.
Celia: “This is a nice house, Amelie.” She praised with a smile.
Amelie: “Yes, it is.” She weakly replied.
Fore: “…” “Usually, Amelie is an overly excited womanizer, or someone who is too focused on her research. I haven’t ever seen her this weak before…” She thought with a sad tone, upset that her new mother was this hurt.
For Higher Beings, incest wasn’t particularly taboo, or even uncommon. Amelie’s hangup was… because of the relationship that she and Celia had.
It was never a sexual one, not even slightly. Amelie acted as a mother, through and through. Unfortunately, Amelie would throw that all away, deeply damaging their mother-daughter bond. Although, Celia wouldn’t ever admit this, that is what happened, and the guilt from doing so is what’s crushing Amelie’s soul.
A Few Hours Later.
Amelie’s house was quite large, and, since Celia didn’t want to risk Fore or Shuren getting in danger, those two were given a private room to themselves. Currently, Celia and Amelie were deathly silent, just sitting on a couch.

Though trapped on an island, Higher Beings were more than capable of creating objects, such as luxurious couches, using only their Divinity.
Amelie: “So many new daughters that I have yet to meet…” She said with a wistful, greatly saddened tone, seeming intent on further adding to her wounds.
Celia: “You can meet them in the future. Amelie… I am not trying to undermine your feelings, but surely, this is something that you can move on from, right?” She asked in reply, coaxing once more.
Amelie: “I know that you’ve already forgiven me, Celia. I must ask Zia… and the rest of the family for forgiveness. I was so selfish at that time, thinking only and purely with my pus… boundless lust.” She said with a groan, almost being a bit too explicit.
Celia: “Sadly, I do not know where the others are…” She added with a groan of her own.
Amelie was strong; Celia knew this for a fact. Frankly, I am just going to assume that Amelie is merely so hurt right now… mainly due to how she got her memories back all at once. In time, she will recover.
Amelie: “The others… Celia, since you’ve come to this island… do you have a way off it?” She asked with a serious tone.
Celia: “I could probably fly us off this island via Divinity.” She answered with a thinking pose.
Amelie: “The Higher Beings here… have tried that before, all their attempts ending in complete failure. Not even Corei had enough Divinity to use that method…” She replied, denying Celia’s suggestion.
Celia: “Is Corei a Goddess?” She asked in reply with a mischievous tone.
Amelie: “…Yes, she is. But why does her current Evolution matter to you, or relate to this talk?” She answered in confusion.
Celia: “Oh, because… I am a Highest Goddess. My well of Divinity seems to be… practically endless.” She explained with a haughty tone, face smug as can be.
Amelie: “(~OAO)”
