It’s not about Light Bearer. Or Lemuel. It’s about Bora Cho—a terminally online girl deep in the trenches of meme culture and brainrot. One night, while snorting at sigma grindset reels and sipping expired soda, she stumbles upon a suspicious job listing on a shady site: “Now hiring: Antagonist. Aura required. Must be dramatic. Pay: 70 billion won.” Her first thought? “Bro what is this, a beta wage cage gig? L ratio. True sigma owns jobs, doesn’t apply for them.” …70 billion won, tho?? Against all common sense, she applies. In the world of Ao: Mana potions can only be purchased at Akilliz shop, meaning… if you were a guard defending Carlin from Ghouls.. the kind that bring death… you’d definitely want one of these top shelf Potions to go with you on that gate, no matter the cost. This lonesome potionmaster is a necessity in any city, often supplying the kings men, powerful wizards, and humble townsfolk with medicinal concoctions, salves, beer, food and bed. He runs an inn upstairs and a shop downstairs. In the Nine: he was a secondary character, but I believe this approach will allow us to see what fun he had before he became so strong. In Tome of Death, his daughter, Elizza nearly dies after a grim sorcerer blows up a wagon full of cabbages, yet is revived by his very concoction. We may discover how Akilliz strengthened himself enough to (spoilers for The Nine readers) have a daughter with the goddess of light, and a son with a woman from Umbrathal (name pending) who’s basically a Drow. In this tale, we aim for a cozier approach to fantasy as The Nine was dark fantasy. (I’ll try my best anyway) . He will still grow through struggle, and will certainly sometimes fail. i hope you have as much fun reading it as I did writing, and thinking about it.
