"Skadi watch out! They're werewolves," Soren warned. He had never met any werewolves before, but the stories he had heard growing up lead him to believe it was much more a curse than a blessing, strong and fierce but subject to transformations under the full moon and even a scratch can inflict you with the curse. Skadi had heard of them as well but growing up in a more mountainous region her people had closer encounters with werewolves and knew the curse didn't transfer unless bitten. Still, there were three of them and it'd be difficult to get out unscathed. The two of them stood back to back as the three wolves circled them snarling, one would jump in half heartedly forcing Soren to react, the wolf that jumped in would immediately retreat and one of the other two wolves would then attack in earnest timing the feint of the other wolf. This tactic was repeated over and over, if it was just Soren or Skadi by themselves they would of had a much more difficult time defending. Soren was still trying to not get so much as a scratch on him because he did not want to end up cursed. "I think we have to go on the offensive, cover me," Soren ordered.
[Blink Strike]
Soren vanished from inside the encirclement of wolves and ended up behind one where he got the surprise attack off stabbing into the wolf. The wolf was solid, and even though it was a great hit the wolf seemed not as phased by the attack as he felt it should have been.
The wolf retreated briefly before attacking Soren aggressively, clearly upset from being hit from behind. He countered, parried, and attacked fluidly and each exchange with the wolf made Soren's moves sharper and more distinguished as he started to comprehend the fighting style quite a bit better.
Skadi was faring just as well, her bare knuckled fighting style was working well against the wolves who were in a blood lust state due to the moon's influence. She had received a couple of scratches but nothing serious or noteworthy where as the wolves were receiving heavy blows, one wolf would jump in and she'd perform a unique spin move that would make her hair act like a whip and target the wolf's eyes preventing them from committing to the attack while simultaneously being able to reposition herself to face the wolf that would try to capitalize on its companions feint. This battle was exactly what Skadi needed to push herself to the next level.
With greater comprehension she was able to do more attacking and less defending, the wolves now had to coordinate defenses to prevent Skadi from overwhelming them. Soren was exchanging blows with just the one, but it was bigger than the other two and got overconfident in his assault, he went for a stab maneuver and the wolf closed the distance and did a backflip kick to disarm him.
'Damn, this is a person not a wolf, I overextended,' thought Soren as the wolf then lunged at him, with four sharp canines as long as daggers equipped with a powerful jaw, aimed directly at his throat. Soren leaned back and used his forearm to block the bite which he could feel sink into the bone.

Soren breathed a sigh of relief that his astronomical blunder didn't turn out worse for him. Reinvigorated he began punching and palming the wolf to make it let go of his forearm and started attacking using [Lycanthrope Silat]. The moves were devastating and even though the wolf took less damage without his sword the werewolf began to seem much more hesitant to attack. Using the respite Soren became the aggressor continued to fight the wolf who eventually retreated from the cave entirely. Soren then used this opportunity to help Skadi who was fairing quite well vs her opponents, when the two of them returned side by side the wolves backed off following the other out of the cave. After being bitten, Soren realized that only the bite would inflict you with the curse and slightly panicking, gave Skadi a once over looking for bite marks of any kind. She laughed, "Worried about me are we?" Soren blushed and apologized but was instantly distracted by several notifications he had just realized presented themselves.
