  Alex was growing stronger with every sed of the battle, his senses had turned even sharper as he began to have a weird feeling welling up inside his heart.

  The barrier that had haunted him, a limitation, had shown signs of crag.

  Mereleona also replied to his growth with her own i irength. The fmes c her body took the blue hue, ging from its initial yellow-reddish color, reag new heights.

  The space began to twist and swirl uhe mere pressure of their csh and the surface of the mountain began to crack.

  "Let's this up. What do you say, crazy bitch?" Alex asked with a twisted and dangerous grin.

  Mereleona also followed with her beastly smile. "You read my mind. Let's finish this!"

  Both of them separated, taking a few steps back to charge their final attack.

  Alex raised his hand and the darkness trated on it, hardening like a solid metal followed by an eerie and mysterilow.

  Mereleona replied to his move with her hand burning into dark blue fmes, the size of her expao three times its inal size.

  Alex and Mereleona looked at each other and moved together, their fists aimed at each other heads.

  *Swish!*

  *BOOM!!*

  Their fist hadn't even made tact when the space cracked and a blinding white light enveloped the two of them.

  Yami and others covered their eyes, uo see clearly as the two of them resembled a sun, followed by a massive explosion c aire kilometer in the radius.

  Everything in that radius, whether it's any sort of lifeform round perished, disappeariirely, leaving a gaping hole at the ter.

  At one er of the hole stood a young man with ash blonde hair covered in blood. His right arm had been scorched by the burning fmes but his handsome face had a satisfied smile pstered on it.

  Oher side stood the figure of a crimson-haired beauty, also covered in blood. Her clothes were in a mess, destroyed from pces during th duel with the ash blonde-haired boy. Her eyes had rolled upwards, looking very scary because of the white color. She had passed out while standing with a satisfied smirk, s from their duel and her defeat.

  Alex looked at his hand and healed most of his injuries, leaving a few burn marks as a trophy. He then flew over to Mereleona and pced a hand on her back, healioo.

  While he was doing that, he saw the group of idiots staring at them with gaping mouths, frozen like ice sculptures. He sighed and shouted. "Stop standing there and quickly finish the trail. If she wakes up and sees you guys wasting time, you all will die here!"

  Everyone was jolted awake by his words and quickly ran away toward the top as if their life depended on it.

  Watg the fight, they realized that if Mereleona really did hit them, they all would turn into ashes with no ce to resist.

  At that moment, Mereleona had regained her sciousness and stretched her arms, muttering.

  "Your voice cks some killing i. It seems I have to teach you a few things ter."

  She turned around and saw the burnt marks on his hands, asking. "Why don't you heal that wound? It would be a piece of cake for you."

  Alex raised his hand and smiled. "It's a trophy for my win against you and also a sign of respect for your strength."

  "Heh... then leave this wound for me too." Mereleona showed a wound on her chest and grinned. "Or do you not like a woman with wounds on her body?"

  Alex chuckled and held her , raising it to meet her eyes. "How about I show yht now?"

  "Maybe ter. Let's first finish this trial. If those idiots finish it before us, it will be very embarrassing." Mereleona muttered.

  Alex shrugged his shoulders and the two of flew walked towards the top.

  "How about we take a bath together and catch up with each other? I have so many things to ask you." Mereleona spoke.

  "And what about the others? What will they think?" Alex asked with a smile.

  Mereleona chuckled and muttered. "Yeah. Like you care about their opinions. So?"

  "Fine by me." Alex shrugged his shoulder and agreed. She was right about him that he didn't care about anyone's opinions.

  They arrived at the summit and saw the captains waiting for others.
