After studying the Five Elements Seal, Shiki realized its properties were nothing special and the Four Symbols Seal which he already studied was better in every way so he diverted his focus elsewhere.

  But Shiki’s learning of the Five Elements Seal was not for nothing and, combining it with the five different elemental sealing methods, resulted in a new original seal he was actually quite proud of, the Five Elements Sealing Method.

  The Five Elements Seal uses the principles of the elemental cycle of Metal, Wood, Water, Fire and Earth, a system different from the usual elements of the Shinobi World, to restrain or trap its target.

  Shiki took its basic structure and hollowed it out, removing the part of the formu associated with each individual element.

  The boy then enrged and reinforced the structure and filled the five holes in it with the five elemental sealing methods.

  Namely, the Water Sealing Method, Fire Sealing Method, Wind Sealing Method, Lightning Sealing Method and Earth Sealing Method.

  Each of those were specialized in restraining, enclosing and storing their respective element, the Fire Sealing Method could even draw in and store the bck fme left of Amaterasu.

  After filling in the bnks, Shiki then condensed the sealing formu to its previous size , so long as one had the required skill, it could be quickly formed and applied.

  The original Five Elements Seal was an A rank fuinjutsu while each elemental sealing method was B rank, the fusion of all six resulted in a bona fide S rank fuinjutsu, the Five Elements Sealing Method.

  Not only could it enclose and store all five basic elements, it could suppress elemental chakra and even formed elemental ninjutsu.

  Unfortunately, Shiki still cked the ability to just manifest fuinjutsu of that level with just his own chakra, mediums like scrolls or special paper tags were still required but it was just a matter of time.

  In the future, not only would the boy gain the ability to manifest it with nothing but his chakra and will, the functionality could also be expanded to cover the various elemental kekkei genkai.

  Finally, Shiki’s forays into fuinjutsu, besides Nirvana Seal: Transcendence, could not be completed without further improvements to the Assault Storage Seal.

  The boy’s vision for this seal would not be realized until its might and function resemble a certain King of Heroes’ go to attack method.

  This time there was only one additional function implemented, the ability to manifest sealing formue that would eject weapons from their position.

  It was not as simple as simply manifesting the Assault Storage Seal in the air, that was pointless as it would only create a single “uncher”.

  No, Shiki upgraded the original seal.

  Now, by pcing the Assault Storage Seal on his own body, along with a special “Seal Key”, the boy could manifest simple formue in the air around him whose only purpose is to eject weapons.

  He could do this simply by infusing chakra into the “Seal Key”, making the Assault Storage Seal more powerful and versatile at the mere cost of a slight increase in chakra consumption.

  As for the Nirvana Seal, things were infinitely more complex.

  But there were things Shiki could do immediately, even if he was still missing some of the key ingredients for the final iteration of the seal.

  So he started his endeavour by creating the super-structure where everything else would fit in a hollow seal, bck on the inside.

  It was based on the Strength of a Hundred Seal but there were some extreme differences that made the seals hard to even associate with each other.

  Firstly, the size of the sealing formu.

  While pnned to condense it into a small rhombus by the end, much like the Strength of a Hundred Seal, it was not like that at the start.

  It was huge.

  Enough to cover a rge room’s floor entirely.

  Shiki had to create a rge sb of hard, smooth stone with Earth Release in order to draw the sealing formu on it.

  It took a lot of dedicated work to draw everything perfectly, days of feverish, high prevision engraving using specialized tools and his own blood as the main ingredient for the sealing ink that filled the grooves.

  In the end, three rge hollowed out sections remained on the giant rhombus shaped sealing formu.

  One at the center, like a smaller rhombus completely empty, an inverted “V” shape cutout above the empty rhombus and an upright “V” shape cutout below it.

  The inverted “V” would be filled by the formu for the modified Chimera Jutsu which the boy still cked.

  The upright “V” would be filled with a special storage seal housing the Gelel Vein which would be the catalyst and power source for Shiki’s future seal guided evolution.

  He could build the storage for now but its contents were still beyond his reach.

  As for the center, it would contain the blueprint of his existence traced with fuinjutsu, something he was still in the process of figuring it out.

  And thus concluded the assignments of the hundred shadow clones assigned to sealing focused endeavours.

  Finally, the only aspects of Shiki’s training left to examine, was his practice in both Yin and Yang Releases, with a hundred shadow clones being assigned to each.

  Starting with Yin Release, the boy decided to invest some time and effort actually learning and mastering some staple genjutsu of various ranks in the hopes they gave in the required inspiration and general mastery for his future endeavours in the art.

  But only thirty of the hundred clones were focused on that particur task, the other seventy were dedicated to the ninjutsu side of Yin Release.

  For pure genjutsu, Shiki did not end up developing anything entirely new though he was jointly working on something with Inori, he did also manage to develop a few upgraded versions of some of the staple genjutsu he set out to learn.

  The staples were as follows:

  Genjutsu: Mist Servant, a D rank jutsu that created several illusory figures simir to the user that emerge from the surroundings, attacking makes them disappear and form even more of them;

  Demonic Illusion: Hell Viewing, another D rank jutsu that creates an illusion of the targets’ fears, this fear can be something conscious or unconscious, it can also manifest as something the target absolutely does not want to see;

  Demonic Illusion: False Surroundings, a C rank jutsu that yers an illusion on top of the world, creating a false environment, very wide in range for a genjutsu of such a low level but easy to notice for anyone familiar with it;

  Genjutsu: Sly Mind Affect, another C rank jutsu with an even higher area of effect but much harder to notice owing to its simple effect, so long as it is cast in an appropriate environment, it makes its targets get lost and wander around in circles in the area covered by the genjutsu;

  Konoha Style: Willow, a B rank jutsu that manifests countless copies of the user’s weapon, making the opponent unable to tell where the actual attacks are coming from. It is a very simple effect but making it work in concert with the user’s own rapid movements makes it difficult;

  Genjutsu: Temple of Nirvana, an A rank jutsu with a wide area of effect and powerful capabilities, making its targets quickly fall into a deep slumber if they look at the countless illusory white feathers that the jutsu makes fall down from above.

  However, if noticed before it fully takes its hold, even retively weak targets can break out of it;

  Genjutsu: Bringer of Darkness, an A rank jutsu created by the Second Hokage himself, to counter dojutsu wielding opponents, namely the Uchiha but the Hyuga might suffer even more from it. It shrouds the targets’ vision in complete and utter darkness even ocur jutsu cannot see through;

  Of course, the genjutsu Shiki learned all had their reason for being chosen, namely, even if the jutsu itself was worthless to the boy, he considered some aspect of it useful.
