Volume 10. Chapter 17: Her Disappointment Was Thick. (Chapter 918)

Chapter 17: Her Disappointment Was Thick.

Letting the slow walk go on for far longer than necessary, Celia’s group eventually reached their destination. Not even at the gates yet, and someone had instantly come out to see them…

Amelie: “Fore! Thankfully, you’re safe!…” She happily yelled, running up to Fore, before then clicking her tongue in grand annoyance.

Fore: “I’ve never seen you do that before…” She said with a shocked tone.

Amelie: “Sorry, I just didn’t expect you to get a lover while away. Is she a rich girl? That dress is… expensive-looking.” She replied with a defeated expression.

Lewd and mostly uncaring about others, Amelie was the same as before. She did try to court Fore many times, but Amelie knew when to give up, and wasn’t the type to try and ruin a budding relationship due to her desires.

Amelie: “Oh? And who are these two?” She asked with a curious tone, seeing Celia and Marni. “An Angel? Strangely, I am not that interested in her. But the other woman… mmm, she looks rather tasty!” She said in her mind, tone lewd as can be.

Shuren: “Marni is our sister, and that one next to her is Celia, our mother.” She nonchalantly answered.

  Amelie: “( ? _ ? )”

Just as she did once before, many years ago, Amelie was romantically interested in Celia. And who could blame her for that? Especially since… she did not have her memories.

Celia: “Hello, Amelie. It has been quite a while…” She said with a longing tone.

Amelie: “Hm? Are we… acquainted with each other? I don’t seem to recall you… After all, I would absolutely remember a woman as beautiful and enticing as you.” She replied with a sultry tone, getting close to Celia. “Maybe this is Celia’s unique method of flirting?” She said in her head, a bit uncertain, but not deterred from going after the Higher Being before her.

Celia: “I knew you in our last life. Quite well, in fact.” She honestly clarified.

Amelie: “That so? I wasn’t aware that I even had a last life. Reincarnation isn’t a confirmed thing, you know. Of course, we both are Higher Beings, so such a thing is likely to exist.” She replied with a smile, getting even closer, and playing with her own hair a small bit.

  Celia: “…”

At this, Celia then laughed like crazy. Despite the lacking memories, Amelie was so similar to her past self. Overly analytical, always pursuing knowledge, while seducing women on the side. It is actually very shocking to see how alike Amelie is to the past version of herself…

  Amelie: “???”

Celia: “Forgive me for laughing. You’re still yourself, as I had expected.” She said with a happy tone, wiping tears from her eyes.

Amelie: “I’m beginning to think that…” She got cut off here.

Celia: “Don’t overthink this, Amelie. I shall give you two options… One, we start over anew. Or two… I give you your memories back.” She offered with a serious tone and expression.

  Amelie: “…”
