Chapter 10: Finding a City.

  Marni: “Is there really no other way to get into a certain city… if you fail the Level requirements?” She asked with a thinking pose, causing her to walk a bit slower than usual.

  Fore: “There is. But… look, there is nothing on this island besides food gained from Monsters. As such… you can get into a city, regardless of Level, just as long as you’re willing to sell your body.” She answered with a groan.

  Celia: “Hm… not a good option at all.” She added with a sigh.

  Fore: “Being a boy or girl toy is definitely a terrible outcome, but if some very powerful person takes a liking to you… being their lover isn’t so bad.” She replied with a wistful tone.

  In a place like this, with no means to secure or produce any form of entertainment… I guess that sex would be the sole most enjoyable thing that one can do.

  Celia: “I take it that Higher Beings are the ones with the most love slaves, right?” She spoke with confidence.

  Fore: “Yes… Most of what I even know about this island… is from one such Higher Being. She took a liking to me long ago, and… is frustratingly the only reason that I am still alive today.” She replied with an annoyed expression.

  Marni: “I thought that you hated Higher Beings… How come that you’re only annoyed with that Higher Being?” She questioned with curiosity.

  Fore: “Amelie is… unique. Without that woman, other Higher Beings, or strong Humans, absolutely would have forcefully taken me in as their lover. She just flirts and protects me whenever I enter Astra, which is miles better than the others.” She clarified with reluctance, frustrated that she had to admit that Amelie was protecting her.

  But Amelie wasn’t that into Fore. If Amelie isn’t there to let her inside Astra, and protecting Fore while she does her business, the woman couldn’t really do much at all. However, Amelie refused to house Fore and always protect her, unless she became her sex friend.

  A Few Hours Later.

  Celia: “How far away is Astra, Fore?” She asked with a raised eyebrow.

  Fore: “Not much further, an hour at most. I honestly didn’t expect us to reach that city so quickly…” She answered with confusion. “Celia did heal and clean me with her Divinity, but why is it that I feel so light, and like I have boundless energy? Was it the food…” She secretly thought, racking her mind.

  Marni: “Celia is enhancing our bodies via Divinity. Fore, even with your Level… as long as Celia’s experimental Divinity Body Enhancement is active, you could likely take on even the strongest person on this island, including Higher Beings.” She nonchalantly informed.

  Fore: “…”

  Thud!

  Fore: “( ? _ ? )”

  Thinking that Marni was just exaggerating, Fore struck the nearest tree with a lazy, joking punch. In doing so, she sent that tree flying far away, roots and all, destroying almost 100 more trees that were unfortunately in its path.
