Volume 10. Chapter 8: Even More. (Chapter 909)

  Chapter 8: Even More.

Celia: “If you’re from a Dimension which doesn’t have a System… then why all the hate for Higher Beings?” She asked with a thinking pose.

It wasn’t like every Dimension had a System, you see. Modern ones typically didn’t. Fore originated in one such Dimension.

Fore: “The Higher Beings… are the ones who control the cities. They’re far stronger than even the highest Level Human, and… can use magic. And they don’t exactly rule their cities fairly…” She answered with a frustrated tone.

Celia: “Magic? They shouldn’t be able to do that. Using Mana, I mean.” She mused with a head tilt.

Fore: “Correct. Now I know… that they, like you, are just using Divinity, while claiming it to be Magic!” She clarified, furious beyond belief.

Celia believes herself to be the strongest on this island, so she really isn’t that worried. In truth, she just wishes to learn why she ended up here. Despite what Fore said, Celia wasn’t very interested in dealing with other troublesome Higher Beings.

Fore: “What are your plans, Celia?” She asked, even instantly calming down after she returned to her meal.

Celia: “To leave this place. Something silly is happening, and I want no part of it.” She honestly answered.

Fore: “The waters surrounding this island are… invested with absurdly large sea monsters. Flying Magic would be the only way to escape, but again, no one can use Magic.” She explained with a sigh.

Celia: “I can fly via Divinity, actually.” She informed with a giggle.

Fore: “…Even still, can you really just leave? What if there are also flying Monsters, who will hunt you?” She replied with a reluctant tone.

Celia: “Regardless of if that is true or not, nothing here could ever hope to scratch, let alone kill me.” She replied with a confident shrug.

  Fore: “(- _ -)”

Fore was still under the impression that Celia was being foolish and pompous, as Higher Beings tend to act and think like this. No Higher Being that Fore has met on this island… was a good person by any means.

Celia: “Don’t believe me? Well… then I shall prove my power. Status!” She expressed with a joking, haughty tone.

  :Status:

  Name: Celia.

  Sex: Female.

  Race: Highest Goddess.

  Age: 20.

  HP: 450/450.

  MP: 250/250.

  AGI: 109.

  STR: 127.

  DEX: 164.

  INT: 86.

  SN: 3%.

  Hunger: 5,000/5,000.

  True Level: 51,000.

  Race Level: 1/10,000,000.

Current EXP: 0/10 (Times 2 EXP Gain).

  Fore: “…”

Celia: “…” “Damn! I completely forgot that the System was being buggy…” She thought in deep embarrassment, trying her all to not let her face blush.

  Thud!

Celia: “Eh?” She voiced in confusion.

As Celia was contemplating how to recover from this embarrassing flub, Fore had passed out. Luckily, Celia caught the girl before she fell, and that sound was actually the (overly sturdy) plate falling to the ground.

Fore had basically left this mortal coil (gone to dreamland) seconds after seeing Celia’s Status. This, of course, only caused Celia to be absolutely confused. If only this Highest Goddess, or Marni… bothered to check the Status of those Goblins.

Marni: “Eh?!” She yelled in horror.

  Celia: “???”
