EmberWhen I came to, Aqua and Alia were holding each other and crying for some reason. Hero and Melissa were nowhere to be seen, and it was midmorning. “I was out an entire day?!” I cried as I turned to gre at Alia.

  Alia sighed and looked at me. “Ember, are you feeling alright? Nothing.. Out of the ordinary?”

  I raised an eyebrow. “Other than being forced to look at your ugly mug? No.”

  She seemed to consider my words before looking off into the forest. “They should have come back by now… Hero hasn’t respawned, that means he is still alive right? But.. where?”

  I stood up and stretched before grabbing my dress off the ground. It was covered in my blood. “You would think when the body dissipates, the blood would go with it!” I whined as I looked over at Aqua.

  She didn’t respond, she just looked at a nearby tree seemingly lost in thought. “Aqua, clean my dress!” I snapped at her. She jerked and looked over at me. Her eyes seemed distant.

  “Shut up!” Alia said as she suddenly pulled Aqua into a hug and gently caressed her hair. “It’s okay Aqua, you are fine, just rest.” Aqua looked around confused and I frowned.

  After a moment she mumbled something and Wavey appeared. She pointed at me as Wavey began to clean me. “Why.. who… Sapphire” Aqua whispered as she continued to stare bnkly at the tree.

  I raised an eyebrow but she was quiet again and said nothing. Alia looked up at me. “I need you to go find Hero, it’s vitally important he comes back soon. I am not fully sure what's happening, but I think Aqua is falling apart and her old identity is taking her over. I need Hero.”

  I opened my mouth to make a sarcastic comment. But as I watched, a single tear fell down Aqua’s cheek and her eyes seemed to gze over. Alia smacked her. “Aqua! Stay with me! He will be back soon! We can fix you!”

  Aqua seemed to come to herself and looked around. “I am Aqua.. yes! Aqua! I am not.. I am not her!” She seemed confused, as was I? Who was she talking to? Who was she talking about?

  “What are you talking about! You are Aqua!” I snapped at her. She twitched and looked over at me with a smile as another tear rolled down her cheek.

  “Yes… Aqua.. me..” She whispered as her eyes started to gze over again. I looked into her empty eyes and I felt terror.

  I said nothing, instead I rushed into the forest. I had to find Hero now…

  As I reached the forest edge I looked back. The army of beastkin around us hadn’t moved since I was knocked out. So.. eerie. Aqua suddenly stood. But her words didn’t make sense. “I must find Hero! As Princess of the Emerald Kingdom it is my duty to serve him!”

  She took a step forward then grabbed her own head. “NOOO! I am Aqua! Aqua!” She fell to her knees and began pounding the ground. My eyes widened in horror and I rushed into the forest.

  HeroI felt really good, then I jerked as I came. “Alia, give me like five minutes.” I said as I tried to roll to the side. I didn’t move and the movement didn’t stop.

  I winced and opened my eyes to see Melissa. She was naked on top of me and riding me. “What are you…” Her eyes went wide as she saw me and she giggled.

  “Oh Hero! You are awake finally! I was just making sure my body was yours!” Even as she spoke, she leaned in and sped up. “Is there anything you need of me my Hero? I live to serve!”

  I blinked in confusion as she continued to ride. Her eyes were dited and she was smiling brightly at me. Something was.. Very wrong. This was not the Melissa I had sex with before. “What are you doing? What is…” I came again and she squeezed.

  Her body jerked like a ragdoll and she giggled more. “Yes.. I am hero’s.. I belong to him… I belong..” She slowed for a moment and her smile faded. But it was only for a second, then the smile returned and she started going up and down again.

  “Melissa!” I snapped at her and she slowed, then stopped. She smiled at me bnkly and leaned in.

  “Yes Hero? Thank you for freeing my people Hero! That was very kind of my master! I am a good Kitsune! I live to serve you!” I paled as she openly let all four tails come out and she jerked as she came again.

  I grabbed her waist and she instantly leaned back and began shifting back and forth. “No, stop!” I said as I pushed her off of me. She instantly let me and I quickly stood and looked down at her. She climbed to her feet.

  She looked very confused, then shook her head. “No, I get it!” A moment ter Alia appeared. “My master, my Hero, wants to py with his first wife! I am a fool! I am so sorry master!” She giggled as she brought her tail around and pushed it inside of herself.

  “I am sorry master, may I watch, please? I'll be a good girl!” I stepped forward and smacked her across the face as hard as I could.

  Her eyes receded and her smile faded. She held her hand to her cheek. She seemed lost. “I.. what was… I..” Her tails instantly receded into her body and she looked around. “What… I am.. I am sorry. I don’t know what came over me…”

  “How long was I out?” I said as I looked around the still empty clearing. It looked like it was the middle of the day. Melissa had been amazing in bed, but this was not funny.

  I turned back to her, she was looking at me strangely. After a moment, her tail suddenly went under and entered her own pussy. It began to push in and out as she smiled at me. “Where does Hero want..” I smacked her again.

  She blinked and shook her head. Tears crawled down her cheeks. “What is happening to me!?” She cried as she stepped back and looked around in a panic. Her eyes fell on me. “This.. this is your fault! You did this! You…”

  She trailed off as she spoke, then finished in a much happier tone. “Made everything perfect and always will.” I watched in horror as she just.. Fell under her programming. Was this the way she was meant to be when I finally unlocked her during the end of the questline?

  Idly I made a note that of course a Kitsune with four tails and shapeshifting powers that could use illusions would be the reward from an entire questline. “So Hero, I was thinking, my people are wonderful, but they don’t deserve to exist alongside you! Do you think I should remove them for your greatness?”

  I felt like I was gonna be sick. The toybox truly had a sick sense of humor. “Oh? Do you like them then? I understand Hero! I am sorry for such a coarse suggestion!” Melissa said with a loving, knowing smile.

  “I will… I will…” she let out a moan and came, squirting on the floor of the forest. I stared in utter disbelief. I had to do something, Melissa was in there somewhere fighting. Melissa, NPC Melissa that is, looked around the clearing before walking up to me, she fell to her knees and just.. Put my dick in her mouth.

  Melissa giggled and her body began shifting, a moment ter she was a small albino fox. I took her in my hand and looked around the clearing. After a moment I sighed. “Take me back to the Emerald Kingdom.”

  She chirped, jumped off my hand, and made off in a direction. I followed. We traveled in silence for a few minutes before a spider appeared. I didn’t even have time to summon my spear before Melissa was suddenly in her combat form. Three of her tails sticking through the spider mid leap. Her fourth tail covered me, letting the spider blood sptter on her instead.

  She receded her tails, bowed, then shifted back to her small form and continued on. It seems her programming was absolute. She was like one of those companions in an RPG. She obeyed her leader's commands and was on defensive by default.

  It was so sad watching the girl who punched a tree, blindly become a puppet. I would kill this system. It wasn’t just taking my life away anymore, it gave these women freedom. Now it was taking it away.

  We had barely made it a few more feet when Ember ran into us. She was drenched in sweat and panting. “Hero! Alia needs.. Alia needs..” She held up a finger as she panted heavily. I waited for her energy bar to recharge.

  Melissa sat on her haunches and just looked at me. She didn’t even so much as gnce at Ember. She didn’t shift out of her fox form, she didn’t speak or even chirp.”Aqua.. Something is happening to Aqua and Alia needs you!” Ember said as she finally recovered herself.

  My eyes went wide and I looked at Melissa. She turned and continued running. I followed quickly, with Ember turning to catch up.. Then a Python ate her. I shrugged and kept following Melissa.

  I caught Ember as she respawned and carried her as we ran.

  AliaAqua stared bnkly at me for what felt like an eternity. She said nothing, her body sometimes jerked. Spping did nothing, words did nothing. She just y there practically unconscious.

  Only her eyes moved as they looked into mine, tears streaming down them. I was terrified to look away. Suddenly, she blinked and took a breath before looking around. Her eyes cleared.

  I bit my lower lip before asking quietly. “...Aqua…” She didn’t seem to respond at first.

  Then she turned and looked at me. “Yes?” She seemed completely calm. “What’s wrong?”

  I slowly stood as I watched her climb to her feet and look at me curiously. I took a shuddering breath. “Aqua, how are you feeling?” She blinked at me in confusion.

  Then she frowned. “It’s.. strange..” She said after a moment. “I am.. I am Sapphire.. And I am Aqua. We… we are one. I feel her inside, and yet I am still me.”

  I blinked. “Like.. you are Sapphire and Aqua?” She nodded as if lost in thought. “So… what does that mean?” I asked curiously.

  She seemed to consider it for a long time. Right before she answered, Hero burst from the forest rushing, carrying a naked Ember with a little fox running in front. She turned and smiled. “Oh Hero! You have returned! I live to..” She paused and frowned.

  There was a long moment where she seemed utterly lost. Then finally said. “Okay.. then… I live to serve you, Hero!”

  I paled and quickly covered her mouth. “She means.. She means that she loves you, Hero! That is all!” Aqua.. or was it Sapphire? Looked at me puzzled then frowned.

  After a moment she pushed my hand away. “You are not a heretic!” She screamed at me.

  I looked at her puzzled and she frowned. She seemed to argue with herself for a long moment, then her body jerked and she gred at me.

  “Heresy! Hero is everything!” She brought her hand down and began to rub herself as she thought of Hero.

  My eyes widened in horror. But after a second, her whole body jerked again and she looked around confused. “She IS NOT!” She gred at the ground.

  She stared at the ground bnkly for a long time. Then she jerked and looked up with a smile. “Deal made!” I looked at her uncertainly and she gred back. “Still a heretic.” She muttered before turning to Hero and falling to her knees.

  “What did you do to Aqua!” I screamed at Sapphire. For this was clearly Sapphire.

  She looked over at me annoyed. “Rex Monster, we made a deal. I get the body now, she gets it ter. Like a time share.”

  I gred back. “Prove it!” Sapphire snorted. And shook her head before looking back at Hero and ignoring me.

  “I want proof too actually.” Hero said as he reached us. “If you are Sapphire, but Aqua is still in there and safe!”

  Sapphire instantly smmed her head into the dirt. “Yes Hero! My existence to serve you! She is fully safe, she actually has a greater mindshare than I do! She could easily take back over if she wanted to. I swear it, my Hero!”
