Torshik and Ashathink were in the meadow. Ashathink was teaching Torshik their language and helping him create the string to his life beads.
“I’ll make the string for you, this makes you itchy.” said Ashathink
“Then why do you use it for string?” asked Torshik.
“Because not only does it have strong fiber but we found a technique to deal with it.”
She then grabbed a big clover-like plant and plucked off a leaf and rubbed on the area where small bumps were forming on her skin.
“This neutralizes the itch. It works on bug bites too, just not venomous ones.” said Ashathink
“Wow, our people really did discover extraordinary things.”

“Here the plant should be safe now.” Ashathink said while handing Torshik the plant fiber, “Now we need to grab some thin vines and wrap a small knot at the end of it. This keeps the beads in place.”
“This is so cool! I’ll have to pick up a book on plants to learn more about these!”
Ashathink smiled, “Our people had an extraordinary connection with the world around them, both in plants and animals. We viewed all life on Moskinious, our planet, as our brothers and sisters.”
The government agents observed them from afar. Especially their commander and mayor, Tataton.
His secretary spoke up.
“It doesn’t look like she’s teaching him anything harmful sir,” said his secretary, “she didn’t even let him touch the itchy plant. I think it’s time we moved on from this hoax. She isn’t dangerous.”
“She’s just playing it safe. You do realize what she is right? She’s someone who lived in ancient times, the same times where chaos and violence was common moral philosophy. We can’t have our soon-to-be young heroes falling for such dangerous beliefs. We’ll keep observing her.”
