He was running forward but was looking behind. As soon as he felt that now the third bullet would be fired, he immediately opened the car window and the bullet got embedded in the window. Before the fourth fire could happen, Sagar had hidden himself behind the car.

Due to the car's headlights being on, Vijay could not see anything behind the car. He lay down on the road. Perhaps his intention was to fire a bullet at Sagar’s legs. His eyes were dazzled by the strong light of the headlights. He wanted to break them by aiming the revolver toward the headlights but then changed his intention thinking that three bullets had already been wasted and after breaking the headlights, it could be difficult to kill the hidden Sagar with the remaining one bullet. He reached the car almost crawling. Now the light was passing over him. Strengthening the grip on the revolver, Vijay, lying in the same manner, began to try to see Sagar’s legs. Due to the moonlit night, he saw the road for some distance, but Sagar’s legs were not visible.

Vijay wanted to finish the work as soon as possible and leave from here. Because any vehicle passing from here could prove dangerous for him. A person riding in the vehicle could help Sagar. Suddenly it occurred to him that Sagar had come to my house that day with a revolver. If he has a revolver, he too will be in the quest of targeting me.

Vijay sat crouching near the punctured tire. For about five minutes, he remained in that same position. Then, making a firm resolve, he moved forward in a bent-over state. He stopped upon coming near the rear tire of the car. Sagar too might have a revolver. Due to this very fear, it was becoming difficult to move forward.

{28}Once again, Vijay tried to see Sagar’s legs from under the car by bending down so that Sagar’s position could be known. it was clearly visible that as soon as the prey was sighted, Vijay would fire at him.

Stolen from Royal Road, this story should be reported if encountered on Amazon.

But just then, the headlights of some vehicle were seen shining from afar. Vijay sat sticking to the tire. He had made up his mind that if Sagar got the vehicle stopped, he would immediately riddle Sagar with bullets. Then whatever happens, will be seen.

And after some time, a thundering truck passed by crossing the car. Vijay began to look at the truck moving away from the car. Right then, a thought flashed in his mind. I am looking this way, Sagar can target me from behind. For a moment, a shiver of death ran through his spine. It felt as if ants were crawling all over his body. He immediately turned his neck back. But there was nothing to fear.

Why didn't Sagar get the truck stopped? He questioned himself. Perhaps he must be aware of my position.

But no. Because if he were crouching behind the car, the truck driver would have definitely stopped the truck seeing him in this state. Perhaps he is not behind the car.

Vijay could not stay here for much longer. It was necessary to take some decision soon. And he took it too. Strengthening the grip on the revolver, he came behind the car in a single leap. Exactly what he was thinking happened. Sagar was not behind the car. Vijay darted his sight all around but Sagar was not seen anywhere. At this time, Vijay’s back was toward the dickey (trunk) of the vehicle. Just then, the dickey opened slowly, so slowly that no disturbance occurred in the grave silence prevailing all around.

Undoubtedly, no sound occurred from the opening of the dickey, but Vijay felt as if something happened behind him. He immediately turned back on the heel of his shoe.

Tadaak (Sound of a hard blow)

A tremendous kick landed on Vijay’s hand that held the revolver. The revolver left the hand and waved in the air. Sagar present in the dickey and Vijay standing with a stock of bewilderment on his face. The four eyes of these two saw that the revolver rose high, rose a little higher. One moment. For only one moment, it felt as if it had stopped in the air. And then it started coming down. Both saw the revolver fall behind a stone after crossing the ten or twelve-foot-wide abyss. To pick it up, it was necessary to cover a path of about half a kilometer. But where was so much time with Vijay now?

  Tadaak

Before Vijay could come into action, Sagar’s second kick had targeted his stomach. As Vijay bent down holding his stomach with both hands, his mouth also tasted the flavor of Sagar’s punch. Vijay moved back groaning. This much time was enough for Sagar to come out of the dickey.

The day had not broken yet, but the fading shine of the stars and the birds that had come out of their nests were giving signs of it becoming light in a short while.

As soon as he came out of the dickey, Sagar made a jump on Vijay, but all of Sagar’s intentions were thwarted when Vijay, also waving in the air, delivered a punch on Sagar’s mouth.

Screaming, Sagar fell far away. Only one punch from Vijay made Sagar realize his strength. Before Sagar could recover, the next punch even knocked out two teeth and handed them over to the road. And Sagar himself also fell face down on the road. Catching Sagar’s leg, Vijay began to drag him toward the abyss.
