Steven found himself on his knees with his face turned, grasping his the side of his cheeks as bits of smoke escaped from their, feeling a sharp searing pain flowing through the cheek he grasped on to.
“Unbelievable” his father spoke while looking down at him with a look of fury and rage in his eye with a smoking palm.
Steven just bowed his head down, his guilt and prevent him from meeting his father’s furious gaze.
“I warned stop this madness of venturing out in to the forest to train, and hoped after what happened that night you would listen and stop. But no, instead of heeding my warning, you instead to keep going out there, despite knowing how dangers and worst of all, you ended HURTING YOUR SISTER!!!!!” a flaming aura then envelope James, fueled by thee rage and fury he over Steven’s actions.
“Dad, please, it wasn’t Steven’s fault. Steven made it clear that he wanted to be alone, I’m the one that…” Susan was cut off midsentence by James saying, “Enough Susan, stop trying to defend him. It doesn’t if matter meant if he actually meant to hurt you or not. All that matters is that he did”.

Steven felt shatter and break upon hearing his father’s. Raising his up to see Susan and her hands singed by his very own flames. He then shifted his gaze to meet his father, seeing the look of fury and above all disappointment in his eyes before bowing his head down and allowing a single tear make its way on his singed cheek.
James looking down at his son and seeing his head bowed, felt his heart mellow down. He then took in a deep breath before saying, “Just leave. Go to your room”.
Steven upon hearing what his father, with his head still bowed. Got up an made his way to his room. Once inside, within the confines of his room, he collaspe with tears streaming down his as the events of what happened in forest and Susan getting hurt because him replayed over and over and over again in his mind, recalling the horrified look on her face as if she was looking at some kind of a monster as she stared at him. Recalling all that made Steven feel angry at himself letting that happen, for letting her of all people get. Recalling the reason he wanted to get strong so his parents would allow him join the guard, so he protect his family and fight so they wouldn’t have to but in the end…
“Your flames can burn as bright as the sun but if you lack control it will just burn and consume everything including you”
His flames could only consume and burn, and not protect.
After that day Steven’s body grew cold with the radiant and intense heat that once burned within him dissipating and vanishing as the flames of passion that once burn immensly within him quilled and died.
