Chapter- 6 Aim For The Top!

  The Next at School, i was walking to homeroom, when i saw Stel, her arms arround a boy, i simply walked on by not giving her any attention, that chapter of my life is over.

  Once inside, Ms. Yuri was waiting for me, a smile on her face, she had always been very kind to me.

  "Hello Roxy, i heard you were pnning to go to Emerald Heart University, although they aren't one of the most prestigious schools in the world, i can tell you that those that graduate from that school have gone on to better things." she said.

  She then gave me a small box, inside were 10 Mid-grade Golden Cores and Five Elemental Cores!

  "This should be of use to you, in order to stand a chance in the exams, you will need to be at Knight-rank, or close to it, the Elemental Cores will help you as well." Ms. Yuri said.

  Elemental Cores help boost one's elemental affinity, the greater your affinity, the stronger your attacks will be.

  "Thank you Ms. Yuri!" i said.

  "Knock em' dead kiddo!" Ms. Yuri said with a wink.

  After homeroom, i made my way to lunch, when a familliar voice assaulted my eardrums.

  "Well well, what do we have here?"

  I turned to find Stel, with that same boy in her arms.

  "What do you want Stel?" i asked.

  "I heard you were participating in the University Exams, do you really think you could ever get into college with your background?" she said with a sneer.

  "I can try..." i simply said.

  "News fsh Roxy, it's not about strengh, it's about where you are in the social world, and you're nowhere near my level, tell you what, i might be willing to help you if you apologize." she said with a haughty snicker.

  "For what?" i said.

  "Breaking up with me in front of the whole school." Stel said.

  "I don't wanna, i meant what i said, you never loved me, and the fact you have some boy in you arms proves it, you don't love, you only crave." i expined.

  "You will get NOWHERE without my help! you won't eve break through to Knight-rank, you FUCKING need me!" Stel snapped.

  "We'll see about that.." i said as i walked away...

  Stel was foaming at the mouth, she was dumped by me 3 times and she couldn't stand it, i guess that's fair, for as long as i've known her, she has always gotten her way....

  However, i will not give her what she wants, i've seen how that ends, and i refuse to go down that road again.....
