Jack viewpoint
I arrived to the peak of the mountain after three hours of running, it seems that the notification about the cut of my stats is real, because my speed was more than halved. I was tempted to increase my stats again to a higher value, but in the end I didn't do it; it was better to first have a good outline of the situation and then change things.
Thanks to the run, I managed to more or less familiarize with my new body, even though a couple of times I smashed some branches (ok, ok, something like ten or twenty times) and other times (not gonna say how many) I went straight against a trunk.
To change both the body and the stats together, now I understand why in novels many monsters are very easy to kill right after their evolution, when I always thought the opposite.
I arrived at the peak of a mountain roughly five kilometer from the arena/valley and my stamina is now down to half, so it would be best to not do physical activities for a while and this includes fights.
Though there are times when you need to push yourself, the idiots who believe that one should train to the point of exhaustion are mistaken; once your body surpass a certain point, it starts to deteriorate and takes damage.
By the way, I found out some time ago that no matter how much I train, I don't gain additional stats; probably in order to maintain balance between monsters and humans, the system made it so that we can't train.
Following this, it also probably means that no matter how much I learn (from books) I will not gain intelligence and wisdom; the only way to do that is to figure out things about the system or something along those lines.
Now, how about the stat reduction? It seems that each time a monster evolve, his physical status gets reduced; so that a level one monster can't kill a level one hundred human... this unless the monster repeatedly evolve or is born with powerful stats (for example a dragon).
This means that the only stats that get reduced are the ones wich are put after the evolution and not the ones before, or every time a monster evolve, he would become become as weak as before the evolution.
The reason the mental stats don't get reduced is probably because if a monster finally become intelligent and then it gets his intelligence reduced, it would goback to mindless... and no intelligent monster would chose it... this also explain why
If things really works this way, this means that I have become a cheat, in the case that I manage to not use any of the stats that I will gain from now on and I only use the ones from my previous evolution (that I skipped), I can potentially keep all the stats from now on and never suffer the stat reduction.
WHAT? This was my chance to become powerful in this world, if I figured out a way to do it why should I get punished for that?
Ah, get that you fucking system, from now on I am a cheat... unless I'll need those stats for a very important matter.
After the status, it's time for the new skills: "Show Earth, Fire and Ki control"
So I'm now able to use those elements in a fight, the skills that I just acquired are without a doubt something that only monster can have... the monster way to use magic that the humans will never be able to use; they probably need to have a specific skill or recite some arias in order to use magic.
Stolen from its rightful place, this narrative is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.
In other words, this means...
This should be all I can do for now, in the future I should be able to develop more skills, but for now these will do; oh well, the last thing to do is to distribute my remaining stat points and take a look at my elemental affinities.
"Show status and elemental affinities"
Ah, this means that once you get at fifty percent of an affinity, another one gets unlocked, I wonder what the other are... some of them I can more or less say what will be; like ice (for water affinity) and space (from the dark affinity).
The last one I found out about it only because there were clues on the home management windows, for the others I can't even imagine.
Ah, now that I think about it, didn't I earn a from the God of the Underworld?
