Cold Spring of snow

An uncertain feeling still hung in the air. The trees and plants had calmed down, as if sensing a storm about to subside. Yu Sui was still descending through the air like a slow feather, but then, at the main gate of the Tao Hua Chuan Academy, a few steps finally came to a halt. These steps belonged to none other than Duie. His breath was labored, his soul exhausted. But when he saw the horses standing peacefully on the cold white snow outside the academy, he took a deep breath and exhaled after a while. But when his gaze fell on the red bloodstains scattered across the white snow, a sharpness appeared in his eyes, as if his eyes were speaking to the snow itself, asking what had happened. Then Duie looked at the horses once again, but this time his eyebrows furrowed, his breath growing cold. After a moment of silence, Duie finally stepped forward, only to notice the raging storm ahead, as if a phantom disaster were looming ahead. His eyes froze, and he lost his breath when he saw a figure suspended in mid-air above the academy's main entrance. The dark, almost inky black aura surrounding the figure made it seem as if someone had mixed black dye into pure, clear water. Duie froze like stone, unable to move. A light sweat began to appear all over his body. But then his gaze fell on the hands of the suspended figure, and in that very moment, Duie's breath returned. His furrowed brows relaxed when he saw the same deep red flute. The length of the flute, its unique red color, and its engravings made it impossible for Duie to recognize who it was. Although Duie had only seen his back and the flute, his eyes widened as he saw the deep red flute in Yu Sui's hands. His eyes widened and filled with tears.

Dui stepped forward, but as he looked around a corner to see Wu Guan inside, his hand immediately went to his sword and tightened, as if preparing his arm muscles for his response. But then he looked up at Yu Sui, then at Wu Guan's followers around him, and finally at Wu Guan. Duie's eyes seemed to sink into deep thought, but his vigilant gaze remained unwavering.

And Yu Sui's burning, fiery eyes were fixed solely on Wu Guan. As if a spark of fire were staring at an entire forest, wondering how to spread the flames. And then Yu Sui finally landed on the ground, his black aura burning the ground to ashes as soon as it touched him, the sharp grasses of both large and small instantly turned to ash, and finally, the moment Yu Sui's feet landed firmly on the land of Tao Hua Chuan Academy, the ground cracked as if the sacred land of Tao Hua Chuan Academy was unable to handle Yu Sui's dark powers. Wui Guan's eyes were torn like torn paper, he looked at the ground, where a crack was tearing the ground towards him, and then Wui Guan, with his heavy and increasingly desperate breathing, took a few steps back. Seeing this, a faint smile appeared on Yu Sui's lips.

The air was plunged into a profound silence, the wind stilled, and a heavy stillness descended on the atmosphere, as if everything was frozen in time. Just then, Yu Sui's sharp, slanted gaze stared directly into Wu Guan's eyes without hesitation, as if threatening her soul. But Wu Guan, unable to bear the intensity of those gazes, immediately turned her empty sheath towards Yu Sui, as Wu Guan stared at the terrifying and unsettling mask on Yu Sui's face, which seemed to be a predator itself. But the moment Yu Sui took a few more steps forward, Wu Guan took an equal number of steps back.

Despite the cold winds blowing, beads of sweat started forming on Wui Guan's forehead, then Yu Sui raised his right hand, which Wui Guan also saw, and then some black energy started emanating from Yu Sui's hand, and Yu Sui's eyes felt like red hot iron, but before the energy of Yu Sui's hands could go any further, someone came and placed a ripe juicy peach on his palm, Yu Sui's eyes suddenly widened as he looked at the peach on his hand, and then a duie passed by him and behind the duie Master Wu Xiang also passed, and Yu Sui's mouth opened in such a way as if someone had taken a morsel from his mouth. Just then, smiling, Duie looked back at Yu Sui, gesturing to him that the peach was for eating, not for looking at. However, Yu Sui's eyes were wide open, and the sheath of her wui guan fell from her hand the moment she saw Master Wu Xiang approaching her.

But... poor Yu Sui, frozen like an ice statue.

Because Master Wu Xiang handled the main functions of the high court, he was still dressed the same, making Wu Guan's breath even colder. But before Master Wu Xiang could pronounce a verdict, Wu Guan glanced at Yu Sui once, picked up her empty sheath, and walked past Master Wu Xiang and Dui. Her disbelieving, irritated eyes and quick steps clearly indicated that she hadn't expected the moment that had just happened. In no time, some of Wu Guan's remaining followers followed. The gaze, the aura with which Master Wu Xiang had looked at Wu Guan, must have accompanied Wu Guan.

Just then, the Master turned around with a proud dignity and walked straight towards Yu Sui, causing Yu Sui to regain his vigilance and lower his hand. Seeing the Master approaching Yu Sui, Duie also approached Yu Sui and, in his usual mischievous and playful manner, placed his hand on Yu Sui's shoulder and said,

"So, brother, how are you? I knew you could leave this wretched world without bothering it."

Duie said with a smile, and hearing this, a small smile involuntarily appeared on YuSui's lips.
