“I do wonder, does Kiana know about this one?”

  It’s not a Sword Arts dance but another Martial Arts skill, one that shares the same name as the Phoenix Dance. This one is literally what we call mountain shattering, especially in my hands and that’s why I will reduce the power of it to the very, very and I mean very minimum because of the reasons I gave before, I still doubt that this place can withstand such destructive force. Anyway, I end up muttering this into the world, quietly of course by my curiosity kind of allowed for my thoughts to be known to the outside. But I do wonder if she knows about the Martial Arts variant of the Phoenix Dance after all, it was the same individual who created both of them. But, let’s move on, let the final part of my plan begin and with it.

  The destruction of Cerberus.

  I begin to descend down, free fall in other words. My speed is not much at the beginning but thanks to gravity and its undeniable laws, I will quickly gain some speed in a few short seconds and while doing so, I fully relax my body and mind. I do have to have a clear mind as otherwise; this entire place will be cocked as I will be using too much strength behind the strike. One way that I have found to clear my mind is to simply close my eyes and forget everything that surrounds me. In this precise moment it’s me and the darkness that by closing my eyes creates.

  Foosh!

  I cannot deny the feeling of the air caressing my entire body and the sensation that free falling causes to the body and consequently to the mind. The sensation starts small and smooth, getting stronger and more violent by each passing moment. The same happens to the feeling of the air hitting my body, going from caressing to literally being a force that seems to hate you with such vivid hatred as it tries its best to push you backwards. Though, all of these feelings, sensations and so on, they do not last for long...

  “Huff…”

  And thus, my mind is as clear as the clean water from a river. Thanks to this state of mind, I’m able to get ready and unleash one of my powerful Martial Arts that I have in my arsenal. Even with its power reduced drastically, it still is one of the most powerful ones.

  As I’m falling down I carefully but also quickly at the same time, I move my body into position, facing downwards towards the confused Cerberus as he has no clue where I am. However, that confusion is more so as he still hasn’t recovered from my previous attack. My right my fist is closed, next to my stomach, the hip should be more accurate in this case. Once I did that, I started to gather my energy towards my fist, while breathing carefully and slowly. I have to increase the temperature of my body by several degrees before attacking, basically igniting my very own muscles in the process. This Martial Arts is supposed to be used alongside magic and that’s why it’s so powerful but at the same time, a type of Martial Art that is basically close to impossible to learn as you have to be proficient not only in Martial Arts but also in magic. Something that anyone can guess, it’s extremely hard to do so as in both cases, it takes decades to be proficient in any, now imagine the time it would need for both. That’s not the only problem as if your magic energy is for the low side, there’s only so much that you can do to increase it and, in this case, you need to have a relatively high amount of it as otherwise you won’t be able to properly use this Martial Arts skill. Only those whose status is similar to mine or prodigies, we are the only ones that can learn this specific Martial Arts skill though the same does not happen to the rest of the “family” as those skills are much easier to learn and consequently to use.

  “Huff…”

  When it's done, I can feel the temperature of my body rising rapidly, easily above the 37 degrees that’s supposed to be at, I will say that, it should be close to the boiling point. Yes, it’s that drastic but worry not, there won’t be damage as my body is more than accustomed to it after all, I had to train like a mad man to be able to do this. I still have my eyes closed and the moment that I open them, it’s to unleash the devastating blow. However, it still isn’t time for such, I’m still too far from Cerberus, if I attack him now, I won’t reach him. If I was using the skill properly then, I wouldn’t need to get this close but, this is not the case. Be patient, I will wait for gravity to take me towards him, at this moment I’m not close but-

  That does not mean the very next second that won’t change. Even if the speed at which gravity affects its subjects is slower than what I would do, in this scenario, it’s more than enough. Because the very next second, I will be close enough to him.

  His voice was calm but what he has unleashed is something akin to a calamity, one that could erase an entire city in brief moments. However, this is the Hero I’m talking about, he knows this more than any of them can even begin to understand what he’s doing, to comprehend what’s going through his mind. All the calculations he did, all of the possible scenarios that he thought of, the exact strength he’s allowed to use on his skill, everything down to the tiniest detail he thought of, nothing was left or forgotten. I, on the other hand, know it extremely well and that’s why I allowed him to be able to achieve this feat. I gave him the possibility for such but, he was the one who took it and brought it to a level far above what he will show. His fist gains a warm red colour to it, one that is as calm as those who meditate, warm as the sun rays from the gentle sunset but, on his case, said fist will deliver a fatal blow to the one that dares to stand on his way, the monstrosity and defect that is far too arrogant to stay on his way. As he gets closer to that foul beast, he moves his arm backwards as much as his physical body allows him to do, all so that he can strike his foe dead on, on his back. And that is the moment, when everything collapsed. He was able to succeed as there was no way for his foe to defend himself but that’s not what worried him the most but the catastrophe that would ensure after said strike. This, it’s exactly what pleases him the most and fills my “heart” with warm feelings as he was able to strike the depravity of this monster with a deadly blow but without causing chaos to the universe he currently is inside of. Indeed, if he wasn’t able to hold back, this tiny universe would’ve been destroyed, decimated, all thanks to the sheer destructive power such Martial Art skill holds. He wasn’t wrong when he affirmed that such skill is “Mountain Shattering” but it’s more correct to say that, the skill is close to being “Demon Slayer” as it was once used against a Demon Lord, defeating him in the process.

  BAM!

  A movement similar to a simple punch in the guts, that’s exactly what I did but with it, I released my Martial Arts skill unto Cerberus back. In this moment everything should have been black for brief moments and I do mean it. The entire place around me (and in a good area) it would’ve been indulged by pure darkness as the skill would literally consume light itself but since I didn’t use magic at all, nothing of that sort happened or will happen instead, I simply hit him with such force, violence and brutality that I could literally vaporize him into nothing if it wasn’t for that pesky and way to overpower barrier that ended up protecting him from such gruesome and brutal death. Sigh, yet again I have underestimated just how strong that barrier is… However, I can say that I broke every single bone on his body while completely rendering absolutely into nothing the ones that I directly hit, the spine to be precise. I doubt they even transformed into dust from how strong that impact was. The initial impact was the one that caused the most damage but the shock wave that followed transmitted throughout his entire body and even the ground where he stands, as it also suffered from it not only that, he was thrown towards it with such brutality that a massive dust cloud emerged with it.

  Ground crumbing noises!

  The blast radius of the impact is several times bigger than him, around 50 meters and mind you, I hit him and not the ground, now imagine just how big that blast radius truly is because as you should know, the majority of it was “done” while in the air, spreading it through the whole body first and then towards the ground. In this entire radius there is nothing that was not destroyed, shattered in fact, around him in an area of roughly 15 meters, a hole was “formed”, one with 3 meters of depth at the centre and until the 15-meter mark you can say that the hole loses its depth as it reaches its edge.

  Shaking noises!

  If that wasn’t enough to show just how much power it had, the violent tremor that followed the impact should force you to see its tremendous power as the entirety of this library shook with it. The tiles from the floor that were just outside of the 50-meter mark also suffered by quite a bit as they were thrown up in the air a few centimetres, drastically crashing towards the ground right after. Though those tiles that were within 50 meters, the only thing that I can say is that, they no longer are tiles at all.

  Fhoosh!

  Once the impact was done, a dust cloud that covered the entire room but I can say that said cloud was also violently created as the shockwave travelled throughout the place, destroying anything on his path while lifting up dust because of it. However, this was not the only cause for creating a dust cloud, those tiles that were forcefully thrown up into the air, when they crashed down, they also lifted up quite a bit of dust as they had enough weight on them to cause such phenomenon when they fell down, helping out covering the entire room with such dust cloud. Don’t worry though, Miss Pink Orb is more than fine as the barrier not only protected her from the shock wave but it also stopped the tiles beneath her from suffering a similar fate as their friends. Well, the moment that I finished my “end of the world” Martial Art skill, I gained quite a bit of distance from Cerberus as I used the recoil from my attack to go upwards towards the ceiling but also away from him, landing on the ground a few good 60 meters from it but in front of her. I’m not that close to her but I can’t say either that I’m far from her.

  “I-Is it over?”

  An understandable question to ask but unfortunately, the answer for it is one that I didn’t want to say. Somehow, maybe the goddess of luck has decided to hate me or straight up gained some sort of affection towards him while I was massacring him, whatever was the case behind it, that thing survived. How? I did a tremendous amount of damage to him, I more than doubt he can even stand up and yet, I can still feel his magic energy through the roof... Just, what type of monstrosity is him? But, it’s not all bad as I was able to confirm every single theory that I had. The first one is that blunt attacks do damage, not much though but much more than the other type of attacks. It seems his barrier is unable to fully protect him against such type of damage. Secondly and a reason why he was able to keep going for this long, prolonging the fight for much longer than it should be, it’s that he uses magic to repair his body. This is why even though I broke his neck, spine, bones and so on, several times now, he still was able to keep going like it was nothing. Explaining also why his magic energy is currently so high as I don’t doubt that he’s doing his utmost best to heal his deadly injuries. Now, the biggest problem with this is not the fact that he can heal himself but instead the fact that I have no clue how it’s happening. While yes, his magic energy is currently high and being used, I haven’t seen or sense him using Healing magic meaning that, there is something else out here helping him out, sneakily recovering his injuries but for some reason, call it Hero instincts, I have an inkling that the barrier is the same way. Now I just need to figure out-
