Pain wracked her body as she was first impaled on the new beasts tail then unched into the trunk of the tree. Her belly had a hole punched into it and blood poured freely from the wound, but she didn't have time to wait as the creature charged at her. She pushed her hands out to intercept the creatures snapping maw, and it became very apparent the beast was stronger than even her augmented form. She groaned under the pressure, the monster no longer pushing her back as it stepped closer and arched its neck, pushing down at her.

  Knowing she was going to give out, she threw her arms to the side, pushing the head of the monster to the side band lunging at it, throwing a punch. A crack sounded out, but Hanna's fist hurt more than the beast seemed to, despite flinching at her blow. She narrowed her eyes, studying the area where she struck it.

  Nothing more than a crack on the thick scales.

  She clicked her tongue in annoyance and dodged to the side when creature snarled. Her experience with she Pukei-Pukei had taught her when a creature winds up, its not wise to wait around. A fireball crashing in the pce she had been had proved her right.

  Wait.

  Fire!!!

  If the beast could read human expressions, it would be absolutely terrified of the look Hanna gave it.

  "System. How much life span do I have?"

  「Report: The host currently has 87 years, 7 months, and 10.3 days of remaining lifespan.」

  Her grin widened as she felt her hunger soar.

  "Strengthen my body and all current traits. Use fifty years to do it."

  「Warning! Host has requested fifty years of bioenergy be used to mutate all current traits. Confirm the Host is certain.」

  "Confirmed."

  「Beginning Mutation.」

  The pain that hit her shocked her out of her reverie, but she couldn't afford to be stunned by it. She ran forward at the creature and ducked under its tail swipe, feeling her body grow more and more powerful. She grit her teeth, blood dripping from her chin as her fight or flight kicked in, fighting through the pain and orgasmic pleasure wracking her body.

  She jabbed her strengthening cws into the beasts tail and grabbed at the bones within. With a loud roar she stepped in a semicircle and swung her arms, surprising the monster by throwing it into the tree trunk.

  She felt ravenous, her caloric reserves running nigh on empty as she combatted the beasts. The creature was stunned by the power she'd exerted, a daze as it fought to stand up, but before Hanna could capitalize on its dazed state, something crashed into her back sending her flying across the battlefield. Another flying creature. Where the first was green, this one was red.
