Tale 6: “Six of the Sea” – Part 5.

  “You haven’t upset the others, Tanya..love.” Nerice trailed her fingers down and internally compared what she’d felt before. “We are sisters of the sea, all of us have been paired..” She began to shake as her nerves made her body tingle. “...I wasn’t paired, Tanya…Now I am, darling.” Neirce hugged Ruby tight and whispered while swimming in a circle, her feet and legs melding and extending her blue scales until a wide ‘T’ shaped tail uncurled and began to gently swish the water under Ruby’s feet. “Tanya Rankles..I have a simple question. Do you accept that we are all five mermaids?” Nerice nodded to the others, who transformed as well.

  Unable to truly deny what she was witnessing, Ruby held Neirce and used her to bear her weight while she watched the others change into mermaids that matched the colors that their scales matched. Ruby smiled and pced her hands on Nerice’s blindfold, “Maybe this isn’t the time to say this…” Blood coursing through her body in time with the fireflies still busily darting in her mind, Ruby lightly ughed. “...This has to be real, because I haven’t had a drop of rum all day..” Laughter broke out among the others and Ruby knew her joke was well received. “Yes, I accept you are all real and Mermaids.”

  Leaning into Ruby’s light touch across her missing eyes, Nerice moaned lightly and relished Ruby’s attention to the most sensitive part of her body. “Love, you and I are a dyad, a pair…drawn together by the magical waters of this pool…where all five of us learned who and what we were.” Nerice grasped Ruby’s hands and held them firmly. “Will you accept that you are a mermaid as well? That our dyad was meant to be?”

  It wasn’t the craziest thing Ruby had learned in her travels and given she had a friend that was a minotaur, Ruby left all doubt behind. “Yes, I accept you..Nerice..and…and…” Ruby felt her breath catch in her throat briefly as the love permeated for Nerice flowed like a river through her body forcing the one-eyed pirate to briefly cry from sheer happiness. “...I accept that I am a mermaid…” Ruby leaned into Nerice’s ear. “Though, I don’t have any pretty scales like you or the others.” Ruby paused, “...So I am missing something in the transtion.”

  “While you let the oils settle in and release your bodily inhibitions, let me convey a little more to my lovely Tanya the pirate.” Nerice booped Ruby on her nose. “You are our sixth and final, the circle of six..our little six of the sea are all that there are.” Nerice cupped some of the water and poured it slowly over Ruby’s long flowing hair. “You are our red.” Nerice purred and flicked Ruby’s lip stud. “Red, its power is overwhelming…and you are the epitome of the color. Courage, love, strength, confidence…determination.” Nerice held up one of her fingers, “It is also lust, anger…danger…” She cooed lightly, “...Violence and rage.”

  It didn’t take much convincing for Ruby to nod her head and agree with Nerice. “My whole life can be summed up like that, Nerice.” Ruby slipped one hand through her partner’s silky blue hair. “I accept that you know who and how I am, darling dymate.”

  “Good!” Nerice heard the others shout out of turn, and in response gave them all a harsh frown. “Rude and impatient sisters, the lot of you.” She stuck her tongue out pyfully and refocused on Ruby. “As they said, Good.” Nerice ughed. “Now then, all you have to do is submerge and let the magic of the pool finish its job. You’ll have that empty hole inside filled…Your scales and fin will be glorious, if it is anything like my mind is seeing.”

  Reassuring herself, Ruby ran her hands along Nerice’s flexible azure scales and gently tugged on her fin. Convinced beyond all reason after Nerice emitted a low chirp of excitement, Ruby gnced at the others briefly, then threw her arms around Nerice’s shoulders. “Take me down with you, don’t let me down there alone.”

  “If that is what your heart desires.” Nerice cupped Ruby’s cheeks. “On the count of three Darling?”

  Anxiously shaking her head, Ruby didn’t bother counting and dipped below the surface, content with whatever happened as long as Nerice’s arms were holding her tight. Allowing the things she’d learned to flow freely in her mind, Ruby purposefully exhaled and watched the st of her air float in tiny bubbles and burst on the surface. Much to her relief, Ruby felt her body refreshed by the subtle feeling of water passing over the gills that had emerged from the side of her neck. It took less than a second for Ruby to know she couldn’t speak, given that she needed actual air to do so. Confused about her situation, Ruby squeezed Nerice tight and tapped lightly on the azure woman’s lips.

  { -“We speak telepathically when we choose to, Tanya. Mmm, my Tanya..The best news is coming, which will allow you to finally respond in your mind to us, read our thoughts as we read yours and…importantly, feel my emotions, only your dymate can..”-}

  Nerice procimed softly to Ruby, and then reached out and happily felt scales where her legs used to be.

  {-“Tanya, Your scales talk to me, they sing beneath my fingers…oh the song..your song…”-}

  Excited to see her new form, Ruby held Nerice’s hand while she pulled away enough to see her reflective, shiny and ruby-like scales. Flipping her tail pyfully, Ruby flexed hard and circled Nerice until she saw her dymate caught in a gentle whirlpool. Returning to Nerice’s arms, Ruby twisted and turned her tail and learned she could control it much like she could her feet. Still spinning from the water that Ruby had stirred up, Ruby curled her lengthy blood-red tail tightly to Nerice’s where it looked as though both of them radiated purple.

  Hot and heavenly, Nerice wrapped her mind in Ruby’s song and felt the infernal rush that the chaotic pirate brought her. Combined with her already shaking body, Nerice cried out in a wave of joy then burst to the surface screaming in ecstasy that she’d never experienced until that time. “Oh, Tayna…” She called out and saw the looks on her sister's faces emanating in her mind, as though a shared secret had been exposed.

  Having heard that particur cry before, Ruby did a quick spin around Nerice and finally spotted the small luxurious cloud of blue trailing from a pair of scales that parted and exposed her partner’s inviting cunny. Swimming through Nerice’s cloud of narcotic-like pheromones, Ruby cwed and crawled along Nerice’s hourgss shape until she broke the surface of the pool then drew the blue bombshell into her arms tightly. Singing tenderly to her cerulean goddess, Ruby weaved her words through the oceanic melody she was creating. “I’m here, Ner-Ner.” Ruby cooed, “What now darling?”

  Panting as though her lungs would explode, Nerice held onto Ruby for dear life, her nerves sending lovely sparks through her body that came out visibly in her aqua-blue scales. Finding it hard to form words while Ruby sang, combined with her sexual essence clinging to her dymate, Nerice did the best she could. “Now…Now…oh the sun above, kiss me…cim…me…yes..cim me and…and…I’ll cim you..as it sh-should have been a few minutes ago.”

  Swirling to hold Nerice from behind, Ruby whispered into her pointed blue ear. “Are you sure? The others told us not to do this.”

  “We are a dyad, love. Partnered for our lives where nothing can split us. Just a single kiss remains.” Nerice spun herself around and fanned her fingers over Ruby’s curved cheeks, tantalizing the one long scar denoting her lost eye. “You and I cim each other…” Nerice purred as her glossy blue lips came within a hair of Ruby’s radiant red ones. “Kiss me.”
