Chapter 4 – Lunch and the Law

The sun came through the window at just the right angle…

“Go away!” Madison said to it exasperated as she pulled the pillow over her head.

“Ugh…I have to get up at some point. Fuck, I’m so damn horny…my panties are soaked.” She mented

“Whatever…I’m not masturbating again!” she decred to herself, “I’m going to find someone cute and get properly id!”

“But first…a shower and food! I’m fucking starving and I can’t leave the room like this…hell I can still smell the chlorine from the pool yesterday.”

Getting up, she looked herself over, slender with small breasts and a cute bubble butt…toned from all the swimming she did in conjunction with her diving pracice.

“I’m pretty cute, gotta say” she mused with a smile, “Not like, hot hot, just cute.”

Grabbing a towel, she knocked on the shared bathroom door. She hoped Mel wasn’t in there. She was a fuller figured goth girl who was majoring in art. She was cute and had a really sweet personality. Too bad she only seemed to date jerky controlling guys.

No answer to the knock so she opened the door and went over and locked the door to Mel’s room. “Hmmm no noise, she’s probably at her studio working on her test project.” she thought.

Turning on the shower, getting the temp juuuuust right. One thing she hated about being a diver was the way the pool dried out her skin. She spent a freakin’ fortune in body lotion.

Mmmmm a nice hot shower was perfect. She got clean and touched up her shaving under her arms and her pretty little pussy. All the swimmers shaved, having bush poke out of your suit or be obvious under it was kinda gross…at least that’s how she and other swimmers and divers she knew felt.

Washing her hair with the special soap that got rid of the chlorine in it, she thought about what she should eat…she needed some solid calories but didn’t want anything greasy…

“Oh yeah, there was that sad pce right across from campus!” She recalled. She could get a big spinach sad with some grilled beef or chicken. Perfect!

Getting out of the shower, she dried off and brushed her teeth. No sense in scaring people off with dragon breath she smiled. Brown hair up in a bouncy ponytail.

Back into her room she considered her clothes…hmmm

“No panties, naughty girl…and little booty shorts with a slightly tight Dr. Strange t-shirt. Nerdy wet dream…hehe that’s me!” she smiled.

As she slipped on her crocs, she said to herself, “No bra either? Mmm Mmm, someone is trying hard!”

“Hmmm, shades, keys wallet…let’s go” she thought.

Out the door and down the stairs.

The sun was bright, and it was almost hot.

Despite her continuing headache, she felt good enough to smile. Walking across the parking lot to the east side of campus.

Ten minutes ter she was in the sad pce.

“Good afternoon.” The coed working the counter smiled at her.

“Hey,” she smiled back, “Can I get a…hmmm….#3 Spinach Sad with grilled chicken?” She asked.

“Sure! What dressing would you like?” the girl asked.

Madison looked closer; Jenny was on her name tag.

Looking over the shades and making eye contact, “Goddess please, Jenny.” she requested with lightly smirking smile.

How adorable, Jenny blushed and smiled.

"Sure, just a minute." the blushing girl replied.

  The doorbell rang.

In walked a very serious man in a bck suit.

Madison gnced up from her phone quickly but really didn’t pay close attention to the guy. “Just another suit.” she thought and dismissed the man from her thoughts.

“Madison, your sad is ready!” called Jenny.

She smiled at Jenny, a little brighter this time, Jenny gave her a bigger one right back.

“Hmmm there is some ‘talent’…gonna have to come back here again.” she thought.

Sitting under an umbrel outside the pce, she dove into her sad. “Sooo hungry!”

  “May I sit here?”

Madison looked up from her sad at the suit was talking to her.

Looking around, “Ummm, I dont want to be rude but there are a bunch of open tables…” She might be interested in talking to him after the sad, but she wasn’t in ‘conversation’ mode at the moment.

He leaned in a whisper, “Are you Madison Read?”

Now she was a little creeped out,” …how did this rando know her name?”

“Ummm look guy, once again, not trying to be rude but I kinda want to eat in peace, ok?” She met his eyes over her shades. No smile for Mr. Suit.

As he whispered again, his eyes changed to a bright gold “I promise, I am not trying to be weird, but I need to speak with you…it is very important.”

Now she was freaked out…she looked around there were a lot of people here. She wasn’t near any edges she was right in the middle of the patio.

“OK man, but don’t try anything stupid. There are a lot of people around here.” she replied as she took his picture, “and I’m sending my friend your picture.”

“I understand your caution. If you like, I can talk while you eat. If I do not have your attention by the time you are finished, feel free to leave and I will wait here for ten minutes after you leave.” He offered, recognizing the caution a smart pretty woman employed to keep herself safe.

She looked at him, motioned with her fork, indicating for him to start and, then resumed eating…warily.

“Ms. Read, my organization has been looking into an apparent mass murder that took pce st Saturday.” He began.

“We have reason to believe that you might have some information that will help us clear this up.” continuing, he pulled out some photographs of young women.

There were thirteen. It didn’t register until he id the st one on the table.

  The dream.

“No way dude!” she whispered urgently. Her arm bells ringing so loudly she could barely hear herself think.

“I assure you miss; you are not in trouble, but we think you may know what happened.” he tried to reassure her.

The pictures put a cold shroud over the warm day. “There was no way that was real,” she thought disbelieving.

Then he put something else on the table, the mask the woman had been wearing. It had been cleaned, but they had missed some blood just under the nose.

“I think it would be best if we spoke somepce more private.” he noted looking around.

Her eyes were wide with fear behind her dark gsses.

No way was she going anywhere that wasn’t public with this dude. Her high school English teacher had always told her, don’t ever leave with someone that threatens you. They are going to do far worse things to you in private than they can where you are. At the same time…

“OK, let me finish eating.” she said around a mouthful of spinach.

As she ate, she thought more about where she could go to get him to talk with her but at the same time not put herself in danger…

Madison came up with a pn. Hopefully her suitemate was in her room…

Looking at the suit, she called Mel. “Hey, are you back yet?”

Mel said, “Yea was just about to take a shower. What’s up?”

“Look ummm can you just do a big favor and come over to that sad pce, across the street from the dorm?” She asked, trying to stay calm.

“If you need some cash I can just cashapp it to you?” She offered, she really wanted to shower and get the paint off her…her technique was rather messy.

“No, I don’t need money…can you just come over?” Madison asked.

Mel, could hear something in her voice, she was afraid.

“OK, yea be right there!” Mel replied with urgency now that she understood it was something more serious than money.

As Madison and Mel spoke, the man gathered the pictures and mask into a briefcase she hadn’t noticed.

Madison turned to the suit, “My friend is coming over to meet us. I’m going to walk with her over to the police box next to that building.” she indicated the small office where some of the maintenance crew offices were.

“You and I can talk there while my friend watches us.” She finished.

“OK, I’ll be right there.” He replied.

“And don’t park near the building, I want to see you coming.” She crified

  “OK” he accepted.

The suit got up and walked away, getting into a beige four-door car that screamed government. As he drove away, she snaped a picture of the car and his license pte. She wanted to talk with him all things considered, but she wasn’t going to be stupid about it.

“Hmmmm, government license pte as well.” she thought, “maybe he’s for real.”

She watched him drive across the street and park about halfway down the parking lot from the building she had pointed out to him.

A few tense minutes ter, she saw Mel walking across the street. Throwing away her garbage, she got up and walked to her friend.

Mel, as was not unusual, had spatters of paint on her face, arms, legs…heck, most exposed surfaces had some on it. She had been smart enough to put her hair under a cap though…hard learned knowledge there so there wasn’t any of the neon blue, yellow and ochre in her hair at least.

Madison walked quickly to her friend, “Thanks so much for coming over!” she excimed, “First round is on me next time we go out!” She promised.

“No problem girl!” Mel replied looking around. She didn’t see anyone. “So, what’s up?”

“OK, so I was super hungry since I couldn’t eat after hitting my head yesterday.” Madison started

“What!?” Mel excimed, interrupting her friend and starting to look at the shorter woman’s head more closely.

“No, I’m ok, well mostly but anyway…see that beige car over there? Well…” and she ran through the entire thing with Mel, well not everything…she didn’t mention the sex demon or devil or whatever that thing was, and she also didn’t mention that the women were all dead and definitely didn’t mention the blood on the mask. She wanted her friend to stay calm and not freak out.

“So, he wants to talk with you, but you are not going anywhere actually private with him, right?!” Mel confirmed, concern for her friend showing on her face and in the emphasis, she put on her words.

“Right, but since he had those picture…” Madison trailed off as they approached the police box.

“OK, so…I kind of messed up what I told him…you stand next to the box and film us and if he tries anything, hit the button and get help.” she told Mel.

“OK I will.” agreed Mel taking out her phone.

The guy approached; Madison caught him just out of earshot of Mel. “OK, my friend is filming us but she shouldn’t be able to hear us, this is as private as you are going to get my guy.” she decred, still feeling creeped out by the whole situation.

“I would really, rather we were not in public like this. Anyone could overhear.” The suit said.

“Sorry, not sorry. I’m super freaked out right now and I’m not giving you a chance to do something weird with no one around, for all I know you are one of those creeps that tries to DM female athletes. She decred, hopefully sounding a lot more in control and with it than she felt.

He looked around, “OK but we must whisper and keep our backs to the East.”

She gave him a dubious look.

“Just humor me in this, please?” he asked with some frustration.

Madison, titled her head and shook it, but turned so her back was to the East.

“I understand your fears. If I had been present for such an event, with as little understanding as I think you have, I too would be afraid.” He told her.

“I work for a special office in the FBI, my name is Agent Balerd.” He continued presenting his I.D. surreptitiously.

“We have been tasked for quite some time with tracking these types of incidents and, hopefully intervening before things like st Saturday happen. Now, I need to know how you were involved or how you became aware of the event?” he asked,

Madison looked at him closely…nervously wringing her hands, “I dreamed it.” she confessed.
