Elven lies II Chapter 89 : SATR Intelligence Report

  CHAPTER 89

  SATR INTELLIGENCE REPORT

Several days had passed since Hans was introduced to his next high hurdle—the timeless strikes. Mastering it was another whole story since he could barely keep up with those invisible attacks.

He kept memorising what kind of slashes he avoided, but Dietrich turned those strikes into volleys of unknown trajectories. There was so much he could memorise, and the result was beaten into him.

Yet there was a smile on his face. “I’m going to learn this shit. Who cares if I don’t have the amp-up aura technique like Chris and my father? This is priceless— no timeless. It will be my winning card.” He rose himself up. “Again,” he asked, and Dietrich followed.

His time with his friends began to shorten before, but now he was fully absent. “Just where is our brat, dear?” Rudolf asked Sierra, who was supervising Delimira’s newly formed fourth circle.

“Most probably scheming something. He isn’t a usual kid, you know.” Sierra breathed in relief as there was no flaw in Delimira’s fourth circle, but the pain her student was going to suffer in breaking her newly formed circle to use in Krosh art disheartened her.

“I’m ready, teacher.” Delimira, sensing her worry, encouraged. “Let’s do this.” She glanced at Chris, perfectly imitating Rudolf’s skill. “I don’t want to remain last when these two are getting ahead. And trust me, in this very moment, Hans would be trying his best to increase his strength. That guy doesn’t know how to sit back and relax for a moment.”

On the eve of that night, Arat made a contact with Hans. “I hope you are well, my prince. This old man missed you.”

“Just two months have passed, Mr. PM. I’ve given you a deadline of four, I think?”

“It’s not my fault that our Satr is efficient, my prince.” Arat said proudly, eager to get a compliment, but Hans saw it to not fulfil that desire.

  “So, send me that info—”

“I can’t,” Arat interjected. “You’ve to get it yourself.”

  “Meaning?”

“There is an orphanage on the Township island—”

“Township… you mean, here in Floatlands?”

“Yes, we are everywhere, my prince. Impressive isn’t it?” Smirked Arat.

“I’d be more impressed if you’ve this establishment in Clandor, PM—”

“Of course we have it in Clandor… but why are you asking…you don’t mean the reason you asked about Reina’s information because you want to go to Clandor again?”

“Yeah, sort of.” Hans hushed, “I need to leave the protective nest you’ve woven to grow up. I need to build myself from the ground, and what’s the better place than an enemy territory.”

“I’ve told myself not to interfere with your …plans, but this is madness, Prince Hans.”

“I know, but I’ve to.” Hans insisted, prompting Arat to contemplate even more. And after fighting with silence for long, the Prime Minister said with deep seriousness. “If you are exposed, you can slash, chop, detonate, or do whatever you need; just return safely as you always do. This old servant is still capable of sewing the mouths shut, understand?”

Hans responded with a sharp, smug smile. “That’s some confidence boost, Mr PM.”

“So, you’ve any plans of breaching the Clandorian borders? Or are you just going to wing it like usual?”

“Just when do I wing things? Whatever. I’ve a plan, our hidden card, the Sylvetor. I’m going to use them. Habits die hard; I told you to keep that receipt of human trafficking from them. They are still in bed with Highborns, right?”

“Yes.” Arat understood the gist with just the mention of those two names. “ That’s doable. But I’ve dug further. Nobody is stopping them because officially they buy scattered or kidnapped elves from all over Genas and send them back to Highborn as a courtesy. They both earn honour, fame, and support of the people, but under that facade of layer, they sneak up many humans, sold to Highborn for whatever purpose.”

“That’s even better,” Hans ran his mind gears, “I’ve to improvise a little, but my plan is still going strong.” He mused, growing Arat worried even further1. “Maybe we should increase our trade with Clandor….” He mumbled, concerned, “Or increase our exchange… this will help you—”

“Mr PM, I just told you to let me do this on my own, didn’t I? Worry not. No one will find me there, not even you. Just tell me how to access Satr network.”

Arat gave up. There was so much he could do to cage young Parvian in the name of safety, but he knew very well a blood so hot can’t be contained within the boundaries of reasoning. All he could do now was show his unbending support and readiness to jump in when needed.

“I accept your orders and shall prepare for the worst. Don’t forget my earlier words. Just return safe as every time.” Arat flipped some pages backward through the communication orb and said, “The key changes every three months and the last run for four. The current one is— an oyster a head by chicken’s leg.”

“What kind of phrase is that?”

“This is random generation by Osiris. It never made sense to me either. But it gets updated every time automatically, so if you want to know the next quarter key, remember me. The orphanage name is South Park, and you’ve to give them code when you are asked any sort of question, not before.”

“South Park, an oyster a head by chicken’s leg. Got it.” Hans was about to disconnect, but he suddenly got reminded of something. “Was it safe to tell me this over the communication orb?”

“Of course, it is made in Parv. That itself is a surety of no one eavesdropping, but it doesn’t work in Clandor or other restricted nations. So be mindful of that.”

“Farewell, and I appreciate you bearing with me.” Hans acknowledged.

“As our words are the Little Prince. May god be my judge as I do my deeds. It is my duty to assist you in anything you desire. Farewell.”

In the dark, stray night, Hans followed the found direction and, avoiding the scrutinised gazes, he reached South Park. “Man, this is luxurious to be an orphanage.” He knocked, and an old lady with no worry of meeting a stranger in the dark dwelling opened the door.

“How can I help you, young one? Are you lost?” She asked.

“An oyster a head by chicken’s leg.” Hans responded, a whisper so low but it reached the nan’s sharp ears.

“You seem lost, please at least have something to eat.” She responded, showing him the kitchen, which they quickly bypassed, entering the cellar. A creak opened a slit in the walls, and a hidden door moved. “Please, my Prince.” She gestured for Hans to step in, and like he’d own the place, Hans stepped inside without any hint of surprise.

“I was told you’ve got intel on my target?” Hans wasted no time, his tone demanding and urgent.

“We have compiled her past and present. Her habits and weaknesses, even what button to push to get a reaction you desire.” The old lady, assisted by a child much younger than Hans himself, handed the thick documents to Hans.

“That’d be a 100 million gold donation.” She asked.

“I wasn’t told there would be a monetary exchange?”

“You can get reimbursed back in the nation, Prince, but to run this facility, funds are needed, and this is the only way Parvian funds can travel here. You pay upfront and get back through the nation.”

Hans reluctantly emptied his wallet. Since the dungeon went bust, his growing money was plummeting hard. “Just for the sake of maintaining face, damn it!” He cursed inside and asked the lady, “Are we good now?”

“Yes, South Park, thanks for your patronage.” It was the last words he heard before the old lady shut the doors right in his face.

“That is interesting.” Hans looked down on the thick stacks of paper bundled together. “This is even more interesting.” He disappeared into the dark night and somehow got inside the Prophets’ castle without being spotted once.

“Hmm.. let’s see what this Reina Clandor actually is—

  BACKGROUND SUMMARY

Queen Reina Clandor hails from the bloodline of the Clandor Dynasty, the only lineage known to possess the Royal Light Aura, a uniquely regenerative and destructive force bound by heritage. She ascended to the throne as the 13th Queen of the Elves, maintaining rule during both peace and the turbulent period of the Elven-Pravian War.

During her close friendship with King Samson, she was titled the first knight of Parvian King, receiving an ambiguous but powerful privilege from Osiris—believed to be a future-altering gift or revelation, purpose yet unrevealed. It is believed to set the Elven-Parvian war in motion.

She was once a prodigy knight with a rank of 7. Her position and power plummeted when she was captured during the early phases of the war by King Samson of Parv, her former close friend. During her captivity, her contracted Spirit—a Phoenix—was forcibly extracted, severing a critical component of her aura combat abilities and reducing her knight grade from 90 to 83.

Following this ordeal, she reemerged as a vengeful captive and, after a year of struggle and aiding the betrayal of Left commander Bernard. She got free and ended the Parvian King’s life. She rallied the Elven army and made Parv submit.

  SUMMARY & RECOMMENDATION

Reina Clandor remains a key political and combat figure whose current status is less defined by raw power than by symbolic influence and strategic marriage. While weakened post-war, her unpredictability, royal aura, and possible prophetic connections make her a subject of high strategic interest and caution.

Monitor closely. Future events involving Osiris' "revelation" may radically alter her threat level.
